To date, all my hobby activity has involved hooking up with advertising escorts.  I have never contracted a street walker.  As such, factors involved in making my decisions are necessarily limited to the escorts’ pictures and descriptions of themselves plus TER reviews and feedback.  Unfortunately, no matter how much due diligence I spend, there is almost always at least some disappointment or feeling of disillusionment when first meeting a new escort.  Factors such as make-up, weight, hair, breast size, etc. are more often than not exaggerated in ads and woefully, even in TER reviews. It has occurred to me that common street-walkers are at least fully honest in this regard.  By necessity, they have to put themselves out in the best possible image to draw in their clientele, since what you see is what you get.

Consider going to a strip club and pulling a girl out of there.  It will cost you at least two or three times as much, but now you know what you are getting.

Either that, or start by searching reviews and PM-ing the reviewers.

...that you search out and start attending your local Meet & Greets.  Full "disclosure" of looks, and, depending on you, the possibility of real insight into brains, humor and personality.

If you want to shop around before you buy, check out M&Gs as the poster above me (mat) suggested. Those are the only safe hobbying options available in the US.  If you hire Street Walkers, you are more than likely exposing yourself to STDs and LE. While nothing is 100% safe, well reviewed, higher end escorts will generally take better care of themselves than SWs.

If you want to have real fun with shopping before buying, you might want to head to FKK clubs in Germany - not cheap, but definitely worth it.

YES ! FKK are the best experience , but EXPENSIVE, when you factor in the cost of travel to Europe - especially if you live in USA.  If you live in Germany or other European country, its a different story.

Sorry, was assuming from what I read that most of the posters on this fk site were upper level corporate executives or greatly in demand academics who get flown to Frankfurt once or twice a year.  Once that's accomplished, it's a bargain...

You know exactly what you are getting, as far as looks. ... Well, at least that is true for the face and the body type. But you might still be surprised at what even skimpy clothes can hide. When push up bras and padded bras come off, you might be disappointed in what was hiding under them. Stretch marks and cellulite are also hidden by clothes. But you can be reasonably sure of what you are getting, vs fake or touched up pictures on the internet etc.

Services will be much different though. If you are just looking for a quickie with a hot girl, then go for it. You are probably more at risk from being busted by LE, or having issues with a pimp. I think you are definitely more at risk of LE busts, but as far as STDs not necessarily. Sure there are SWs who practice unsafe sex, but then there are high end escorts that do also. Anyway in my experience with SWs, it was covered BJ, covered FS, no DATY, No kissing etc. (Not that I would want to with a SW even if it was offerred, but it was never offererred) So my escort experiences with bbbj, daty, and dfk, theoretically are a lot more "unsafe" than my SW sessions were.

Whiile Meet and Greets might be a good way to see the providers in person before setting up anything, there are two problems with that. They are only held in certain cities. Many areas never have a meet and greet. You have no idea where the OP's "local" area is. The second issue I see is while many hobbyists probably wouldn't mind meeting providers at meet and greets, they have no inclination or desire to ever meet or hang out with other hobbyists, which would put M&Gs out of the question for a lot of guys.

the STD risk with a SW is higher.  I have read reports where Planned Parenthood tries to get know SW's to take as many condoms as they can carry, however they decline because in many cities if you are caught carrying more then 2-3 condoms you can be arrested for SW, assumption under the law or some bogus thing like that.  So the ladies do in fact have BBFS with their clients because they do not have enough protection with them to cover that client who still wants what he is paying for.
