After all, one of the three deadly sins of Buddhism is to disrupt the harmony of the brotherhood.

The other is to kill an arhat.  (One so enlightened that they know it is fruitless to do anything at all.  Nearly all cats are arhats, so that is why we don't kill them when they claw the furniture.)

I forget the third.  I should look it up to make sure I'm not doing it.

I''ve come to a conclusion about posting the political thread here-----NOT gonna do it. As I said previously, though I've been coming to the TER website for 4 years, I'm a newbie here & "testing the waters". From the survey question I posted, I see that it's just TOO damn polarized here  ( a microcosm of the country ),& it would serve no useful purpose----too damned inflammatory.

That being said, for the vast numbers of bloggers who posted here, their replies were pretty damned civil on my political question & I appreciate that. There was ONE exception, however------someone who tried to CONTINUALLY censor & muzzle me on the most innocuous of statements. I read through many of his previous posts & found him to be quite hypocritical. It reminded me of that doofus from several months ago who was caught hobbying redhanded from his wife & made an idiotic attack on providers & hobbyists.
The subject of this person's hypocrisy is different, but I find him to be a hypocrite all the same. I WAS gonna take my original political topic to the P&R board, but I'm going to substitute the topic of this "2 faced hobbyist" to the P& R board tomorrow----or maybe not---depends on how bad my hangover will be tomorrow------:(

In any event, I will CONTINUE to post here on hobbyist-provider matters whether you clowns like it or not-----see you in the funny papers------;)

Maybe you should have kept this to the P&L board, especially if it's personal.  Do we all need to hear what may be condemnation over opinions?  I dont't think so!

to infamy and you brother are sitting with the fat lady and though she is not singing yet, she's putting on her shoes. Give up on making this the second coming of the P&R board... And yes, we should want to discuss more than tits and asses a la Ciara... but you are aching for a breaking and my friend, you're gonna get it here... You might also get moderated by GND and that is tantamount of having your nuts in a vise (corrected per Priapus53) in TER land.

I have mis-judged you Priapus 53. You are close to being held incommunicado at a debtor's prison for people who live in glass houses and yet thrown stones. Perhaps politics and pussy are of the same cloth and we just don't get it... But you, take yourself far too seriously and I predict you'll slash your own TER wrists and die a slow death some time in 2008. For now, you can be the hall monitor and the grammarian of TER and make us all proof our posts with your standards before we press 'post message.' Now that's imPOTENT (sic)?

I'm on work assignment in Asia and haven't been on TER very much for the past couple of days.  I have had a couple of issues with Priapus' posts regarding religion and politics on this board.   I've asked him to post it in the P&R Board.  That's all I ask.  Leave this board for discussions of sex and less "charged" issues.

By the way, saw the craziest thing here today when I was riding the work shuttle back to the hotel (I NEVER drive here).  Three VERY cute ladies were walking down the street holding hands.  That's generally not done here - and just as I was about to say something to the driver a car ran off the street right in front of the ladies, missing them by a few yards, but nonetheless "close enough."  The car ran through a crowd, into a general type store and stopped in the window.  That car missed 3 dozen people in just a few yards. Amazing.  The driver was a young dude, probably 25 or so....think he might have noticed the ladies?!   Damn scary close for some people.  It just wasn't "anybody's day to day."
