I agree, I shouldn't have said what I said. I should have clarified it. Normally (this is what I believe) when other hobbyists go to see other reviews from other hobbyists, they want to see the gritty details like if she provides DFK and what not. But with your review, its different.  Like Peter said, it is very poetic and light on the juicy details. And when I said I could see why someone would send you a negative reaction to your review, I was meaning to say, they probably wanted to see the down and dirty stuff. Most hobbyist use the reviews as a deciding factor on whether or not they should see that provider and I suppose whoever sent you that negative mail probably thought you provided them with nothing positive and for some reason felt the need to tell you this. I should have stated all of this in the first place but stupidly enough I did not and I apolgize for that. I am sorry if I offended you or put your review down. Writing such a review like you did took real feeling and I'm glad you have that.

My future reviews will be short on down and dirty details and long on why I chose to see the lady to begin with and whether I think my efforts and time were well spent.  I understand that there will be hobbyists who dispise my reviews and some who will find them useful.  The important factors for me would be whether I feel good about the review when I read it published and whether the provider who I saw would feel good about reading it.
MrSelfDestruct has a sound writing style that many hobbyist appreciate.  Everyone have their biases, I have to admit that instead of being put out by MSD's reviews, I am turned off by reviews that are full of mis-spelling and poor grammar.  But I would never send a piece of hatemail to a person who writes a review that turns me off.

HateMail is not acceptable.

I am put off as well by poor grammer and mis-spelling. With that said, I would never send them a message stating such.

I know MrSelfDestruct's style is appreciated by many and I appreciate that his style is different and that alone makes him special and a great valuable asset to TER.

I, too, will throw my vote in favor of Mr.SelfDestruct's review of Lily June and will add my own 2 cents... I think the "better" reviews are a difficult balance between the juicy details (which we all want to see in order to make an informed decision), but we should also express why it was we were enchanted by that particular lady. It is a very difficult balancing act as you all well know. A few, like Pauliewalnuts seem to have it mastered. But it is a difficult art. Some of us try to reach for that balance.

I think Mr. SelfDestruct did a very good job in capturing the "essence" of the given provider in his review (I know as I have seen her too and his comments were quite on point). Although it may be too skimpy in the gory details department, it framed his individual experience and time with her very well. But who goes to some a lady based on one review alone? I think if you read Mr.SelfDestruct's review as well as the others for that particular provider, it actually adds to the mix much better than the same old tried & true methods we all use in our reviews.

Better his prose than a mere recital of the availabe "acts" boiled down by way of simple acronyms. What is the alternative? Using check off boxes only??

Still, to be flamed by another poster for his review was downright despicable and small minded. Although you might not like someone's review, there is no need to act like that person did. It makes one think that his tormentor was some pimply-faced, hormone-raging, brain-addled 16 year old with too much time and computer expertise on his hands without adult supervision.

I am sorry I couldn't post to this until now.  I was not dragging it out intentionally, as I was busy last night, but I sincerely appreciate any kind words spoken by any of you.  It more than counters my one (and only) malicious communication by someone one here, and I truly feel unworthy.

There are many good people and good posters on here, and I am glad that some connect with my style and occasional long-windedness. :)  I am impressed with the posts of so many out there, both hobbyists and providers, that I just feel lucky to be part of it, and that y'all put up with my being so vocal.

Thanks to all for making this a good place to have fun, talk, grow, and do what we like to do best.

Peace out.

is looking for a new Dostoyevsky. Overblown horseshit is great in a Russian novel, but. . .

as his review was real short with the "details." I still cannot determine what he did with her. Maybe he read to her!
