TER specific, of course.

So gentlemen, feel free to answer my questions. Your input is much desired and appreciated.

When viewing an escort's ad on TER:

- Do you read the whole ad?
- Do you just scroll down to the picture?
- Do you visit her website?

Curious minds would like to know!

incall (and part of town you are in), outcall (and what areas you are willing to visit), hours,  and of course days you'll be around.

Specific words I also look for: flexible; gymnast; any mention of unusual talents such as sword-swallowing.  These are rarely mentioned in TER ads, and so a strong magnet for me.

If there's no picture, I move on to the next girl's ad.  I object to ads with no photo. To me, the best ads use animated gifs and I wish more girls would use them.

Your Name/TER handle

1. A picture (or several)
2. Dates and/or times available
3  Incall/Outcall offered and approximately where you service (uptowm, downtown, suburban town or county, etc.)
4. Contact info incl. Website and link to TER reviews
5. Special services offered, whether Greek, BBBJ, DATY, DATO, FIV, FIA, fetishes, or whatever you are into, or not into.  Sometimes its just important to know what you won't do as what you will do.
6. Something to set you apart from every other provider, whether a joke, a gimmick or just intelligent writing.  Tell the client why he wants to meet you.

I look for a sense of personality & fun in how the ad is written.
Location - give me a general sense. City or suburbs? In a larger area, like New England, tell me more or less where you are.
Long paragraphs about your education & refinement are a turn-off. You should be able to show it.
If you've got special skills & interests, say that.
Rates - yes please

Yes, the photos, preferably a mix of professional shots and a candid or two (all should be recent or if she's made a change in hair color, a new large tattoo, etc.).

PLEASE include at least one photo showing your best "I'm glad to be here" SMILE. I understand if you've concealed a portion of your face for security reasons but there are good examples in other ladies' photos of concealed faces that still show a good bit of a smile (Captivating Cory is a great example).

Smart writing will hook me almost every time, as I'm a sapiosexual. A sense of humor with a (restrained) edge is also a bonus.

A history of forthright board presence and some good reviews from capable reviewers.

is what I'll call timeliness of the ad.

I pay little attention to ads announcing a visit more than a month away.  Even worse, an ad stating "catch me today only" begs to be ignored. Seriously, if we haven't met, who wants to jump through screening hoops in hopes that you have a mutual time slot available TODAY?

In answer to your specific questions:
Do I read the whole ad? Depends on the length and content. I start with the picture. Make the ad short and sweet. I prefer that you mention rates specifically, or at least tell me where to find your current rate (especially if you're touring and rates vary by city, season, etc...) Tell me what part of town you're staying in and when your first available appointment is on day 1. Please proofread your ad for grammar and spelling. The word SPECIALS gets my attention too.

If you don't have a pic, better have a link to your TER reviews. I'll click the review link before a personal website link. I'll skim through your TER profile before advancing to your website.

Last, but not least, tell me the best way to contact you. Is TER PM best or do you answer emails faster?

1. Picture first always
2. Location and dates
3. Check website
4. Read some reviews to get an idea
5. Menu items
6. Cost
7. My availability

-I almost never read the whole ad.  Some ladies seem to think they are budding novelists.  Anything longer than a paragraph is too long.  I generally scan the ad for touring locations and prices.

-No, I do the above, but an ad without a pic doesn't grab my attention at all.

-Sometimes, if one or more of the above things interest me enough.

1. No typos. Poor grammar and typos only belong on BP.
2. Note any significant "life" issues, please. Showed up for an in-call once in Phoenix only to find the 23 yr old blonde spinner about 7 months pregnant.  Nothing on her site, and she never mentioned during my phone conversation.  I was not there for a 3 some. :p

As to your  specific questions:

Yes, I usually will read the whole ad, except for occasions that it's HUGE, or if I already know at a glance I won't be making contact. That could be based on pic, rate, or availability.

Yes, I'll scroll down to look at the picture first, but I'll still read the ad. I think posting an ad here without a pic is silly. I'll still look at the ad, but my interest level does drop. Sometimes I'll find her site or 411 or whatever to see pics, sometimes I won't.

I'll look at her site if it's still a maybe. Meaning if I don't already know it's a no. Again, pic, rate and availability.

There are several basic things I would say every ad "should" have. First of all, some personality! Humor is great and goes a long way with me. Or just something sort of smarty pants. It doesn't have to be that, but just show me some personality. An ad that makes me chuckle or makes me think damn I wish I could forward this to soandso, he'd think it's hilarious, will really get my attention. Show me you didn't just paste in your website copy that you hired somebody else to write. Again, every ad should have a pic. I also like an ad to have rates for at least a couple different time options, available dates, as well as whether she's incall or outcall or both. I don't see why any ad couldn't have these things and I get annoyed when they don't.

An ad should also have a link to a personal site or 411 profile or something. This brings up something I never understood. A provider is allowed to put one link in an ad. Why waste it by linking to your reviews here? When I want to see your reviews, it's right at the top of the ad by your name, "see my TER reviews." (I don't mean you literally, I mean the royal you. I don't know if you do that or not.) I understand if a lady is new here so she doesn't have the TER banner on her site yet or her handle isn't linked yet or something like that, but I see many instances of linking to the profile when neither is the case. Maybe it's just me but that seems goofy. I won't say it's wrong or anything because I would definitely be looking at her profile at some point before contacting, and almost always the profile has the links to 411 and personal site, so it doesn't really matter. Just seems like inefficient marketing to have two links on the ad that go to the same place, but what do I know.

that reveal a little about her personality and playfulness.  I find wittiness and humor attractive.  For me, its not just about the sex, its also about making a new friend and having a good time.  If I do my homework, I will end of repeating two or more times with about 70% of the ladies I choose to see.

And I see if I have an interest . If there is no picture, the ad had better be well written to continue my curiosity. I then look at her web site. If I like what I see and read there, game on! If there is not a picture and no web site, I won't go there. I have to have the attraction, the ability to  feel that there can be a mutual connection or I move on. I p4p but I want  to feel a connection.
