Looking at a post by Olivia Darling below I notice that mention made of clients sending photos of themselves - I wonder how often that happens, and how helpful that is?

Personally if a client sends a photo of himself with the FIRST email, that always turns out to be a waste of time, vanity thing for me. However once a client and I have communicated seriously about meeting, I find it very charming for a man to send his photo.

I'd be interested to know other experiences - and if the correlation I've found between first emails with photos and timewasters is the same?

I always did and it was never a problem.

two referrals approved. I'm not going to take any chances of having everything fall through by sending my picture

NOT in a first email, but prior to the actual appointment.

Not because I think I'm especially good looking or anything; but just so the lady can identify me -- especially if we are meeting in a public place or something.

I only do this with providers whose photos are such that I could readily identify THEM in public as well.

No one has ever asked me for one. If they saw my picture before the appointment, I would never see anybody!!!

I've never sent one unrequested but occasionally I have been asked to when, as in John's case, we plan on meeting somewhere like a restaurant.  I can describe myself as "ave ht, ave wt, ave looking, brown hair" and somehow that excellent description doesn't help much.  

Photos after we have developed a level of friendship are different obviously.

I had a provider with whom I had an appointment request a photo of me.

Just because I don't think it's fair that we can see them and they can't see us.

It made for a more comfortable experience, I hope, between her and I.

And it does help when we have to spot each other out in a crowd.

my time on.  I've seen ads on CL where the woman gives all the particulars including minimum penis size, and wants pics prior to you being allowed to go pay to fuck her!
LOL, no one has ever vomited to death when I walked in.  I'm so exceedingly average that i'll never be the best, nor the worst she'll have to deal with.  When every lady starts posting pics that are within 10 years of the date taken, I'll consider it!

I don't request an image of anyone i see, but on occasion do receive them. It really depends on the type of image sent to me. Email with nude images showing private parts are immediately deleted.

Other images are sometimes sent by sweet guys allowing me to get a peek before they arrive. Certainly not necessary as I have said multiple times before, looks are the last thing I care about.

I don't usually want or need them but if a guy feels like he wants to send me a face shot that's cool but I DO NOT need a penis pic lol.
