Just happen? Do you think that they can actually be manufactured consistently? I am in the camp that thinks that a fraction can be manufactured but some are actually unintended. For example, dumb providers who take it too the boards and whine about their latest low-reviews. Hobbyists who had something happen to them and take it to the boards to bitch about it. voluntarily or not, I think that trainwrecks can both be  manufactured by trolls and accidentally happen from posts by unintending people

It's like tossing a lit match on a puddle of gasoline.

Some of these train wrecks used to be entertaining.  Now they are just boring, like watching a movie with too many special effects explosions and car chases.

and just like with the hookers we see, it's the quality sometimes, not the quantity that matters.

Some of the "manufactured" train wrecks are so droll as to not be of any entertainment value, or at least very little. Sort of like getting a $100 BNG from a BP lady. Other train wrecks are VERY entertaining, like when a particularly BSC hooker starts whining, running her mouth, and refusing to STFU no matter how many well intentioned posters tell her she is ruining her reputation for keeps. Those train wrecks are quite entertaining

I will agree that the ones "manufactured" by the likes of RTucky and NEG can be rather trite, too many car chases and no real dialogue or decent plot for the movie to be truly entertaining.

I will also add that the troll posts that start off with "Why do you dumb fat hookers do......." have certainly lost any entertainment value that they ever had and were run into the ground back in the days of OSP and Jack_Schitt among others.

I guess our tastes in movies must differ too then.

I like the odd-ball types of movies that feature the relationship between unusual people over the thrillers and crash-bang-boom blockbusters.

It actually saddens me to see a gal go berserk on here because I know it will end up hurting her business ultimately.

There is an intrinsic interest into seeing someone meltdown. Its human nature.  

Case in point: When there's a car crash, people look for blood and when they see it, they react in horror/shock.

But does that stop them from looking the next time? NOPE! lol.

Manufactured or accidental, train wreck threads do not offer any substantial value. Unless a person can gain financial from participating in a TWT. Who hear would do anything in which there wasn't the potential for financial gain? There is no practical reason for a person to waste time being stupid.  

Unless a person is delusional, inebriated, or suffering some other form of psychosis. There's no reason to masturbate to the idea of watching some persona go down in flames.

On the GDB a lot of people don't get for some, they are here for "entertainment purposes". I'm not saying other stuff doesn't happen here as well.

they feel empowered that they are sitting in front of a monitor in an anonymous fashion and spout their venom on people who do not deserve it.

the days of daily trainwrecks are here to stay as long as TER allows those cyberbullies to stay on... unfortunately.
