But, I know some guys contact multiple providers and then decide from the ones that actually respond.

and I make appointments with providers a LOT more often than I do dental appointments.

Of course, my dentist insists on me booking my appointment days or weeks in advance, and I never book hookers that far in advance. I imagine that if I were forced to book sex that far in advance, I would be a habitual appointment canceler as well, but I have enough regard for the women I see to not book appointments that I am not almost positive that I can actually make. I guess I just like the women I see a lot more than I like my dentist. lol

It is funny now that I think of it. I reschedule at least half of the dental appointments I make. I doubt that I cancel or reschedule with the ladies more than once of twice a year, and that is out over the well over 100 appointments a year that I make with the ladies.

do so knowing her rate ahead of time.  The only time I don't follow through with scheduling a date is if the provider is not available when I want to see her.  

Some guys have a life beyond their hobby. For me there are often business meetings that run over or get changed. When that happens I try to give as much notice as possible and reschedule. Really it is the same thing I need to do with my dentist.  
 

That would be a very good reason for a hobbyist not to follow through.

but I have gotten weird vibes from different women that turned my off after making the appointment, but before actually showing up.

I have also had women attempt to make me jump through too many hoops in order to see them, in which case I also take a pass.


Or on very rare occasions, things just come up that can't be helped which have forced me to reschedule or cancel an appointment, but that is a rarity for me as I don't make my appointments more than a day or so in advance to keep this from happening.

1) Sometimes if the provider is new (no, or very few, reviews) but I'm interested I'll open the lines of communication, if I don't feel 100% safe I won't book
2) If the provider takes more than a few days to respond I'll usually have moved on
3) If something she says strikes me as really odd or weird.  (Had one tell me not to reply to her text between certain hours as her SO had access to her phone at those times)
4) If she delays our original meeting more than once without what I consider good cause and adequate timeliness
5) She isn't available in the window I have available
6) I travel for work and on occasion that work ends abruptly, I may start a conversation then have my travel plans change.  Since I haven't booked yet I won't move forward, though I usually do send a note so they aren't left wondering.

Some hookers do baffling and unscrupulous things at times.

I always have every intention of booking when I reach out to a provider. Before reaching out I've done my research and know that's who I want to see. However, as stated above, if there's a long delay before I get a response then I've probably moved on. Also, multiple reschedules will cause me to move on. An example: I once had a late morning, multi hour appointment with one of the highest rated providers in my city. I was REALLY looking forward to it. When I was in my car on the way to her incall (after several flirty verification texts that morning), she texted me and cancelled and asked to reschedule. We rescheduled for the same time on Monday. Verification texts on Monday morning and, again, when I was in my car on the way she texted me to cancel. She offered $100 off if I would reschedule, but I declined. Never contacted her again.   This probably isn't the situation you are asking about, but the point is everything you do, if you haven't met before, makes an impression and can make a guy reconsider his choice. If a reply is timely and you make the guy feel that you're actually excited to see him then it will probably work out. I don't have any insight to guys that chicken out or never had any intention to begin with. I do believe if it's not a newbie ( has reviews and recommendations) then he's unlikely to chicken out.

I always really want to play, so if I postpone it's because of illness, or an emergency. However, after booking, there are certain instances when communication breaks down, and things become less than comfortable. For example, I recently booked with the proviso that she send me the address of the public meeting place within a comfortable time frame for me to get there from out of town. She agreed to that, but did not follow through. She finally sent the address after I told her I didn't have time to get there, and needed to cancel. Another recent session had to be cancelled when the lady sent me three different incall addresses, on two different streets. I couldn't figure that one out, but it was a no brainer to stay away.  
The only other time I've bailed is when I've picked up on a bad vibe.

I'd rather be filling someone cavity than having them fill mine.

I've reached out to local ladies with plans to schedule but then a traveling provider who's high on my list comes to town so I wind up postponing my plans to schedule with the local lady since she will be available at another time.
