Do any of you gentlemen enjoy champagne or do you consider it a "girlie" drink?

I don’t drink personally, I’d rather smoke a J. So there’s that LOL. But I am a guy (not necessary a gentleman) and can offer another perspective if your question is what will guys like? Beer is always a safe bet with guys. You will never see anything but a smile if you walk right up and hand a guy an ice cold beer. Want to make his smile bigger? Give him a frosty glass right out of the freezer to put it in at the same time. Don’t ask him if he wants it, don’t say anything. Just walk over to him and hand him an ice cold beer out of a cooler and a frozen glass. No guy would be unhappy with that as a general offer and it’s easy to find local brewed craft beers.

It’s how I see white wine and women.  I always keep a good bottle of Chardonnay in my refrigerator to offer women who come by my place as a general offer. To me, that’s a safe bet. If they won’t drink a glass of wine and drive, I also keep a bottle of Martinelli’s sparking cider in the fridge so they can have something.

I truly don’t care for Moët and Lanson although I know many do. I find them too rough/dry. For those who are gin drinkers, the difference between Veuve and Moët is akin to the difference between Gordon’s London dry gin (the Moët) and Hendricks (the Veuve)...

I've been in the wine biz for a LOOONNNGGG time (reference the handle) and bubbles are the best way to start or end a fun encounter -- and they're fun during the encounter as well.

Whether you open a bottle of prosecco, cava, California Sparkling or true Champagne (so named for the region in France from whence it originates), every woman I've had the fortune to share some time with gets much perkier when that bottle comes out.

It might take some time and experimentation to find the "just right" combination for you but there are some truly worthy bottles out there from $20 and up. Yes, it will take some experimentation to find that combination -- kinda like our time spent in p4p, not even bottle fits every need, want or desire.

Keep those bottles well-chilled, don't shake them up in transport and avoid the big gusher when opening -- save that for the end of your session ;)

I especially enjoy sipping a great sparkling wine when in the company of a  bright& beautiful lady.
Those who allow society or culture to shape their pleasure miss out on a lot.

BTW , there is an amazing sparkling wine produced in of all places New Mexico. Can’t recall the name but it runs around 18-20 bucks.

I don't personally drink and would rather have a J.  :)  But it's always a nice touch to keep alcohol on hand for clients that enjoy.  I suck down ice water all day after my 1.5 cups of coffee.  But when you said ice cold beer out of a cooler.  That reminded me how smooth they go down on a hot summer day when the beers been in a cooler for a couple of days in icy water.  Wine dehydrates me and I only had to get alcohol poisoning once to never touch liquor again.  I am too old to intentionally hurt myself.  But that J.  Sex is so intense.  No morning hangover either.

Ros'e is my ATF!  You do not have to spend lots of $ either.  Sharing a bottle of bubbly helps relax & sets the mood, plus it gives us a chance to hydrate, and catch our breathes during intermission.  lol Smile for me! xoxo

Of the three brands you mentioned only Krug is worth a shit. Dom and Crystal are only the beneficiaries of good marketing.Veuve is a thousand times better, not that yellow label stuff, which is fine for making Mimosas, but try a Veuve Grand Dame some day and if you have any taste at all (which you don't) you'd fine is was every bit as good all but the best bottles put out by Krug

Or better yet, just stick to vodka

There is nothing better than sitting by the fireplace next to someone on a cold night sipping a champagne cocktail:

1 sugar cube
shot or 2 Angostura bitters
1 glass Champagne, very cold
Lemon twist, for garnish, optional

or by the pool in the heat in Las Vegas.......mmmmmmm.

Would rather have a good single malt, though, preferably an Islay.   Belvanie also makes many good ones...the 12 y/o double barrel is a personal favorite.  The latter is a highland, though.

Sharing a bottle of champagne. It is not something I would “belly up” to the bar and order if I was alone. But, it is (obviously!) a great celebration drink or something to sip on while getting to know someone. Now, my palate is either not refined enough or it just does care......so I seem to actually enjoy the cheaper champagnes then some of the higher end varieties.

You’re welcome. Hendricks is lush. The U.K. is having a significant gin resurgence and you lay your hands on all kinds of varieties at very reasonable prices. I’m having a bit of a ball tasting them with my sister at all the gin festivals here 😀

I've never thought of champagne as a "girlie drink", but I'm not much of a drinker and alcoholic beverages aren't in my thoughts much anyway. But I used to buy my ex-ATF bottles of Farniente, never champagne.
Come to think of it, both of us imbibed rather heavily in Cabo but never champagne.
