I saw an ad and thought I would TOFTT. We e-mailed back and forth and got down to the verification. I refuse to give ANYONE, including those verify websites, my credit card information or any other personal data.
She wanted to make sure I was over 18 (I am over 50). I told her that I am a VIP on TER and that should prove that I am over 18.
She also wanted a reference, which I am reluctant to do. The whole point of hobbying for me is to stay UTR.
I have posted a couple of reviews, which would verify that I have references, but to me I would lose some privacy.
Is this an issue for anyone else? Am I doing something wrong here?
You should give out personal information that you feel comfortable revealing. And nothing else. If the info is insufficient for the provider, just move on. Writing a review is not the same as a reference, nor is getting a white list TER reference. Many escorts want to speak/email with your reference. I always volunteer references, besides my TER white list references. For me, I want the lady I'm about to see to feel comfortable with me, before she sees me. I sometimes volunteer to send a TER pm to the lady, obviously it reveals my TER handle, and she can see that I write reviews. I never discuss writing reviews before I see someone.
While I think providing basic verification info...name, work contact, etc...is standard practice everyone has their limits. If you don't want to give out any of that info then you need to be prepared to get shot down by providers (alot).
Let's think about it for a second...providers are placing themselves in a vulnerable situation being alone with a stranger. They deserve to know he is (1) not going to arrest them, (2) isn't a sexual deviant, and (3) won't hurt them.
The reason a review isn't a good verification tool is because anyone can write a review whether he's seen the provider or not...for my privacy I appreciate that most providers won't give out info on a past customer without hearing from the customer first...so if a perspective checks your reviews they still really don't have any way to verify that you've actually seen the provider.
For me, reviews are not an adequate form of screening. I sometimes use TER whitelist to verify a gentleman has seen a provider before and knows how to conduct himself. But only as additional screening along with more traditional types.
As for TER reviews, they are not screening. They are an account of what happened according to YOU, not the lady. There is no way to know if the lady would see you again and thinks you behaved yourself.
The majority of my guest do not review, never post, and are lurkers.
You don't want to give your cc info to any of the verification sites...fine I get that.
I can deal with alllllllllll that...until we get down to the combination of your refusal to give up a reference request, only two reviews, and no verification site membership(s).
That is overkill......it has to be one or the other you cannot have it all.....
For those of ladies who do not screen you would be fine, however if a lady does not screen you, she is not screening anyone. If she is not asking you for the information you are refusing to give up, she is not asking anyone. A few things:
You would be great material for a reverse sting.....you cannot expect to not give up any information and then turn around and ask her for all her p411, reviews, and date-check information....
You may never get in the door to see a well reviewed, reputable provider, who is serious about her business.
You may end up constantly toft...which could run into very bad situations with providers who do not perform well.
Using your TER ID or any other source of identifying information to curry favor or extras or anything for what you might give in a review taints it in my view. Other than the information you use to get into the session, you should remain anonymous. People who use it as currency are not likely to give the most honest recap in my opinion.
I always, always try to be a gentleman whenever I see a lady for the first time. I let her know that I am a member of TER and if they'd like me to do a review in order for them to generate more business based on a positive experience, I'd be happy to do so. But, if it's a rip off or bait and switch type scenario, I'm gonna do what I'm gonna do. I don't ever want another guy to have a bad experience that I may have gone through.
I always tell my providers my TER handle before we meet. I let her know "a good review is up to you". I have better luck when I work the odds in my favor. If you think I am only looking out for me, you thought correctly. If you work the odds in your favor your reviews should also improve..
And no, none of the providers I've seen know that I review or what my handles are on the various boards. Well, except one provider that asked me who I was when I posted the review. I'd prefer to keep it that way to avoid drama if I have to do a negative review.
no review, 2 reviews or 100 that you have written means nothing to me without a good whitelist or 2
The lady did the smart thing and passed as many ladies will do. I think you need to rethink what VIP will do for you. It helps you find a lady who will take care of your needs but it doesn't guarantee she will see you.
You want her to take your word for it that you are safe. No personal data, no 3rd party verification, no refs. Very one sided view that your privacy is so much more important than her safety.
Have you considered that you are increasing your risk by limiting yourself to mostly potential TOFTT options? If one DOES turn out to be LE your privacy would be compromised 100 times more than giving out a reference.
Not sure you'r really taking the UTR approach in the long run.
If asked for CC info from a provider, run, don't walk away. No legitimate provider asks you for CC info as part of the verification process.
References however, are not at all the same as a review. Your review is YOUR perspective on your encounter. Her reference is HER perspective on the encounter. Just because you walked away happy and wrote a good review does not imply that the lady in question was not running for her computer to add you to her "never again, no way in hell" list. Furthermore, don't expect the lady you wrote the review about to remember you from your TER handle alone. I don't know who every single man is who has written a review for me, though I know most of them.
Basically what you are saying is that you won't give any information about yourself, nor will you provide references from provider's you've seen. So you expect a woman to see you sight unseen without having the slightest clue as to who you are. Well, good luck with that. I value my life too much to take such chances, but there are women out there who will invite you in after a 5 second phone conversation.
I don't give out my TER handle. No need to connect that to a real person. I do give references from the last person or two that I've seen. That has always been sufficient.
I always ask before the appointment starts before if she wants a review and let her know after its up. As for the rest of the post I don't try to stay UTR with the ladies I see. They can have my name, phone number, where I work TER handle, and references. I will even give up my age 37 and weight 365lb. My wife knows what I do and am my own boss so why hind.
