does not mean other people are not going to get grossed out over them or even leery.

Both providers and hobbyists have a right to protect themselves and be cautious. It's unfortunate that you don't see it that way.

I don't think you should had to go in the door explaining, but some guys are just paranoid and think because of your working status that you must have herpes and few other things. Chalk it up to him having stereotypes about this slice of life and leave it at that. In the meantime, if there is such a problem, have a game plan for how you deal with the next guy. Good for you that most guys don't write reviews.

Now, if I get a bruise, it takes WEEKS to go away.  I am all black and blue if i simply bump into a chair.

I had few dates scheduled in NYC withing next two weeks after my arrival.  Those who know me asked "ok .. so what happened this time?"

Those who did not? Immediately asked "so, does your pimp beat u up all the time?"

However, if said ingrown hair is positioned slightly above your knee, that will be acceptable. If it is near the kitty, forget it!

Will ya still book me? ;)

I can't even count the number of posts bashing men for bad breath, shitty underwear, Humps on their backs (lol) etc.

So your suggestion is that we email in advance asking if you have any growths we should know about? Oh yeah, that will get a lot of dates.

This thread is so utterly predictable with all the providers and white knights blindly defending a provider "no matter what".

If the shoe was on the other foot and a client was rejected for having a growth "down there" there would be a line a mile long defending the provider for having the right to "protect her health"

There is nothing to be done now.  You & he have had what ever conversation & parted ways.  It's not like you can put a notice up on a bulletin board somewhere.  He may or may not pass on this bit of misinformation.
What you can & should do is be prepared if this comes up again (either from someone he passed the information to or a new guest in a similar circumstance).  The simplest explanation is best.  ANYBODY who shaves (and some whose hair rubs off from clothing friction...  I have hairless shins where my boots rub) know that ingrown hairs are a occupational hazzard.  Certain ethnic groups with curly hair are more prone to this but it can happen to anyone.

I certainly think he over-reacted...  but people have to go with their feelings.  If he was so concerned, he would not have had a good time, so was right to wrap things up early.  His loss.

I have to self inject medications daily...  if I have had meetings and know I have bruises or injection marks, I have mentioned it to my providers in the first few minutes of our time.  They have universally stated that they were not concerned, that they knew the difference between medical injections & drug abuse...  but best to have it out in the open.

I am sorry this upset you so much.  Yes, you are very sensitive...  but perhaps that is what makes you a special companion.

OK so long story...but I had an experience recently with a man who didn't want to be intimate with me because an ingrown hair of mine made him think I have herpes.

YES HERPES!!

Him:  "Is there anything you want to tell me about your heath?"

Me: "Ummmm I have ulcerative colitis"

Him: "Well you have a bump down there"

Me:  "You mean this ingrown hair?"

Him:  "It looks like more than that to me."

---------------------
Okay, I'll spare the details of the rest of the conversation but basically he accused me of having herpes or warts or SOMETHING other than an ingrown hair.

I am a runner.  I run 5 miles a day minimum, 14-18 on my long runs and INGROWN HAIRS HAPPEN.

I was disgusted and insulted and even vomited when I left the room after his accusation.

Now I realize I am a very sensitive person.  I could have told him off, told him to bugger off, etc but I did not.  I simply packed my purse and left.

But now I feel so insulted, humiliated, manipulated and USED for spending 4 hours with him just to be turned away and accused of having herpes or whatever.

I know, I know....I am rambling but I've NEVER had anything like this happen to me before and I'm still crying today about it.

To the providers out there:  what would you have done?

To the men:  What do you think about a situation like this?

Thanks in advance.

It is a tough call but it is not just my health but every person I see. Being to careful is a laughable situation until it happens to you but it isn't a real laughing matter. If I have anything that doesn't look right I take time for it to be in order. I had over 50 tick bites from my knees down. No sexual problem there but I took 4 months off to let them heal. Why ? I felt that a stranger meeting me for the first time would not feel comfortable seeing them or getting close.

I'm sorry for the way you felt over this gentleman's reaction but i'm sure you have felt in some way the same at one time. It's a learning curve that only you can grade. Was it helpful to your future and has it enlightened you to the other person's safety and comfort.

There's a product called seabreeze that will work to keep ingrown hairs in check. It's made for the face but I use it every time my pussy is waxed.

It's speculated that about 1 in 5 people in America have Herpes - an estimated 60 million people. World wide; a study conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation concluded there are more than 15 million new cases of sexually transmitted infections each year (this doesn't even include the speculated 80 percent of people who have the oral form of the virus - HSV1.) That’s 41,095 newly infected people every day.

With odds like that, chances are that everyone on this board has been with somone who has it, it's practically a given. That doesn't mean it's been transmitted, but it's always a risk you take when having sex with anyone.

Many people never even have symptoms. You may have herpes and not know it. HE may already have herpes and not know it. I could have it, and not know it.

Knowing how common it is, and that the presense of the sores or blisters or whatever-the-fuck-they-are greatly increases the likelyhood of transmission - only brief contact is needed to pass it on - the guy did what he thought was best for him.

Not saying you're lying, not saying that he isn't completely clueless, but as always people will look out for numero uno first and formost. He did what he thought he had to do, and you need to dust it off your shoulders and forget about it, because that's all you CAN do.

if I seen a man whith a bump I would think about doing him, it depends on what the bump looked like.
I'm sure men have at times experienced ingrown hairs , when they shave thier faces (or other areas)
and they can look inflamed and resemble a pimple.
if it was picked at it and it was scabbed or open then I would not do him and you should not be doing people if you have a open wound of any kind!
it is inviting anything that he has that you can't see to invade your system, so maybe be happy about it.
I can't blame him for being safe but he could of handled it differently and been open minded, but we do judge by just looking at someone without asking or any openess about it.
We are very judg"mental". lol

When you admit you're "a sensitive person" and that you actually wanted to vomit because you were so upset, it does make me wonder if you're too sensitve for the profession.  People being people, upsetting things will happen occasionally. My take is, I understand it's upsetting, but not to that degree.  I know from your other posts you really love it most of the time, but you really need to work on this aspect because, while I do understand some level of upset is appropriate, the level you describe is over the top.  Something to work on, I suppose.

From the ads, I'm often expecting photoshopped perfection but I know I won't always get it. The worst thing I've ever encountered was cellulite that had been p'shopped to smoothness, but at least I know what cellulite is. During some intro DFK, I was kind of feeling around her legs and ass, like Sylvester the Cat slowly and deliberately squeezing the features of the snarling Bulldog before a beatdown, while my Big Brain was screaming "Run away! Run away!" But I didn't feel anything weird and she soon made me forget about everything else in the world and it was great. (Soon after, she more than doubled her rates so I never did repeat.)

I've also seen some of the most beautiful perfect real pussies, as perfect as photoshopped men's mags, I can ever hope to see.

But if I saw something I hadn't seen before and I wasn't sure of, I think I'd ask and, if necessary, work out an exit strategy.

Should pimples and other features NOT be photoshopped so us guys know what to expect?

Can be, but far less likely. In such cases it is said that can be avoided effectively with use of protection. Skin to skin contact with actual sores is most likely way to transmit and in such a case it transmits very easily. Even sharing a towel could spread it.

I'm not sure I could identify the sores if I saw them; I have seen pictures where they look like pimples, other pics where they look like blisters, some pics where it looks like a cigarrette burn - and what you are looking at could just be - a pimple - razor bump - an ingrown hair - but how do you tell with an untrained eye? If something doesn't look right, you gotta make up your mind...

Talking bad about other people makes some people feel like they are "in" with the program. No excuse though. Risk factor is rather low when one see only providers with class and care for themselves. Don't believe they will put themselves in risk.

Then again, there are lot of paranoid people around who should not in the hobby. Trust is required for anything to work and your job is to figure who to trust and who not trust. It can only be done using the big head but, paranoia doesn't help in that situation though.

I wouldn't take one mans opinion to affect me or define me.

It's midway between my knee and my crotch, on my inner thigh.

I have no reason to lie--why else would I even bring up this topic in the first place, silly goose?

I understand that anything located on the inner part of a thigh may be frightening.  I get it and I respect his decision to back out now that I've had time to examine what happened.  I guess the most hurtful aspect was spending 2 hours dining at a ***** star restaurant, then having everything fall to pieces.  Ok, also being accused of having an STD hurt my feelings.  I get tested every 3 months for EVERYthing, I treat my body as a temple and I am even considered to be a UTR escort because....well...nobody even knows I exist LOL  Thankfully, my day jobs keep me busy and I have no financial struggles in life.  Praise Jesus.

Oh and no, LOL, the ingrown hair WAS and still IS noticeable.  I take immaculate care of my skin and know better than to pop pimples.  I will likely see me dermatologist next week to give me a cortisone shot to shrink it.

I am very fortunate to attract the exact type of gentleman who appreciates a courtesan experience.  Even the gent who freaked out about the ingrown hair was amazing--fine dining at a top restaurant at Bellagio, he bought me very well thought out presents in addition to a cute, romantic card.

That said, this experience is probably he first experience that didn't flow out beautifully. As my best friend pointed out, my patrons treat me with so much respect and have been so incredibly generous over the years, one little snafu like this shouldn't upset me.

Lynette, I, and a few friends went to my suite later on and needless to say my attention was spent on her the rest of the night into the morning.

The lady is exquisite. From head to toe. She blew my mind with all we talked about that night and since.

She and I are going to meet again. This time for the real deal. I'm going to do unspeakable things to her, and know she'll do the same!

As far as this punk ass bitch that commented on an ingrown hair on her leg? I'll let you know how it goes when I bite it out. Whether it's on her leg, her pussy, whatever. I am SOOO going to fucking eat the holy hell out of her!

I should have clarified this....

Yes, 99% of my engagements are dinner dates, and my birthday present is always given to me during the first 20 minutes in a book or casual gift bag.

Honestly, it's more like 2.5 hours spent at dinner enjoying cocktails, conversation and exquisite cuisine.

But I live in suburbia, about 40 minutes from the Strip, not to mention the line at valet...which adds on about another hour.

Then by the time we head up to the room, brush our teeth/freshen up etc...that's about 4 hours of our time together.

The more I keep thinking about this, the more I understand his paranoia and desire for precaution.  But as a woman who gets tested every 3 months for EVERYthing and even works at a Planned Parenthood  center, I can't help but feel insulted.  I do outreach with prostitutes...why in the h* would I ever put a partner at risk as a health advocate?

Namaste

My personal definition of a personal attack is when person #1 says something nasty towards person #2 AND person #2 complains about it.  Many of you seem to feel badly for person #2 and want to argue on their behalf, but that doesn't hold much water with me.  While that may seem lazy or callous, what you cannot possibly know is that I often get PM's from the person #1 begging me not to take action.  Often they are in on the joke, or find it amusing or whatever.  I further don't differentiate between offensive posting from aliases vs. non-aliases.  An asshole is an asshole regardless of his hat.  On the rarest of occasions, a post will be offensive enough to me that I'll pull it without prompting by the offended party.  Since this comes up repeatedly, I went and tallied up the denied posts on my boards.  At this time, it's a mere 18,466.  So, if you think the board isn't being policed, I can assure you that your head would spin clean off if we allowed every post for just one day.
