We're not angels here, those that are married, but I'd like to think that I have some decency left in me. My marriage may be what it is but our home is still our home. Only once in my life did I bring a "date" into my home while married.  This was many years ago.  It was a girl I met at a bar.  My wife was out of the country so I thought I was safe.  No way was wifey was going to show up by surprise.  I did not realize how uncomfortable it would be.  I thought all of our paintings and statues were staring at me.  I actually turned around two ceramic birds, who had very penetrating eyes.

I freely admit making a mistake in getting married again.  I didn't get into the "hobby" until my second marriage.  My first marriage ended upon (correct) suspicion I was still fooling around occasionally with my ex-girlfriend -- an affair that actually went on for several years.  The "evidence" was a scent of makeup on my shirt collar.  This is also where I learned that women will make financially self-destructive decisions if their pride is wounded -- divorce.  We had two good incomes and could have built a nice retirement nest egg.  It's just crazy to throw that away on suspicion (I'm not idiot enough to confess. I lied my ass off  But she had her pride.  That was 15 years ago.  I've been employed steadily since then.  She's been out of work multiple times and is apparently on her third year of unemployment.  It was a financial disaster for her.  I told her at the time what she was throwing away.  But logic is useless with a wounded pride.

I married again rather quickly thereafter ... in this case because of the financial situation of my next wife.  And that's the crux of the issue.  I'm her financial support.  As a single she would be financially desperate.  Divorce would, of course, put the financial burden on me to support her.  I wouldn't want to throw her to the wolfs, nor do I want my holdings divided and diluted, it wouldn't be good for either of us.

Because she is out of town for long periods of time frequently (tending to elderly parents) and since I realize I have an appetite for variety, I finally made the jump and booked my first pro.  I never play while the wife is in town.  Having learned the hard way that insane pride will cause women to self-destruct even on mere suspicion.  I'm careful but not paranoid.

That I have found on DayUse for LA is the downtown Bonaventure hotel.  They have a long window of 9:00a to 6:00p for less than half the overnight rate.  Most DayUse hotels have a shorter time block, usually 4-6 hours.  I've used them for the Bonaventure half a dozen times so far this year.  I don't need the whole 9 hours, so I only go from 12:00 noon to around 5:00 in most cases.  If I was still seeing two providers a day like I was 5-10 years ago, the 9-hour block would be ideal.  

Call me out that I have been eating pussy because they smelled the scent of pussy on my face when they would give me a kiss on my face upon greeting me.  If I smell it, I wash it off, but if I don't smell it, then I don't bother, and have been embarrassed like this on multiple occasions.  I read somewhere that most women's senses of smell are often far better than men's.  

Insane pride?
Nothing wrong for a woman - or man - to not want to be married to a cheating spouse.  That’s the most normal thing in the world.  I’d hardly call that insane pride, even if there is a financial impact.

Not wanting to be treated like shit doesn't sound like "insane" pride at all, it sounds more like self respect.
