After reading no less than six glowing reviews of a provider, all posted in the last thirty days, I went to see her. NOWHERE in the six reviews where she received 2/8s, 2/9s, and 2/10s was it mentioned that she is HUGE! C'mon guys! You are not writing for Penthouse, but for your brother hobbyists.

Her profile describes her figure as "average", that is a load of crap. Does anyone think 5'2" and 190 lbs is "average"? I have hesitated to post reviews in the past because the ladies were really VERY nice people and I didn't want to say something that might hurt them or their livelihood, and I didn't want to mislead others in the hobby because I feel I need to tell the truth if I say anything at all. I have seen a number of providers with all great reviews, and most were exagerrated.

Yes, she was very sweet, and a true GFE. A very FAT GFE. I understand that some guys like bigger women, but it is pretty hard for me to get it up for one. Lots of those to be had in the bars for free. I paid $300, well above the local average, and I did it based on the six reviews here in TER. I am not knocking big girls, and those who love them, I simply wouldn't have chosen to see her.

So what's the deal? Why the bullshit stories? It just causes unrealistic expectations and hurt feelings. I don't feel you are really helping the provider when the client shows up expecting something he is not going to get. I am not mentioning names here, the guilty know who they are.

I hear you.....I know EXACTLY what you are saying, and have given thought to posting on the same topic.

It has occurred to me that it might be perspective....that if you are not in the habit of "getting any" (for whatever reason) then when it happens (especially if "it" includes things that wifey won't do at all, or that a guy has been some how lead to think most women outside the "hobby" won't do, like BBBJ), then the guy get all happy and joyious and thinks he has seen nirvina.

The standard has sort of been set here that if a girl "does her job" and does so with a reasonably pleasant attitude, she gets a "7" or "8", when in reality it should be more like a "5" or a "6". I have read reviews where it sounded like the guy didn't have a good time at all, but since he DID blow a nut, he gave the girl a "7". It seems anything less than a "6" is only given if a guy was ripped off (meaning he didn't get what he thought he was paying for) OR (and this is unfair) he hammers a girl on looks AND performance, just because she isn't his type (I saw a girl a couple times who I think this has happened to)


I don't know what can be done about this problem....I only can say that if I am going to spend more than a couple hunded dollars (in other words, if it is more than an agency quickie because I am bored / horny), then I read ALL the reviews for ALL the guys who have provided a review on a particular provider I am researching. If I find that a guy tends to inflate ALL of his reviews, or that he has less than 3, I discount what he has to say in my mind. Often times this practice will elimate ALL of the reviews of a particular escort, so I then don't call. I figure my money is too hard earned to piss it away without me at least enjoying myself.

BTW....in your experience that you are posting about...did the girl not have a website...and did that site not have pictures? When you arrived and she wasn't what you were expecting, why didn't you just end things there (and maybe give her $50 for her time)?

Your points are well made, and I hope reviewers listen up.

Here's a suggestion to protect yourself in the future.  When you make the appt, ask the lady (nicely) to describe herself, and whether her photos are recent.

Also, be sure to post a review!  We need to help each other out.

I would also send private mail to the 6 reviewers, in case they don't see you post here.

That maybe they liked big women? You say you understand how some guys do, but at the same time, you suggest these particular guys shouldn't have given her such high marks. Why? Because you didn't feel the same way. Such arrogance! I think reviews and ratings should be based on the reviewer's own tastes and experience with a lady, not what they think someone else might say. If I think a lady's really hot, I'm going to give her an 8. If the session was great, she'll get high marks. I'm not going to sit back and think "gee, I wonder how 20 other guys would rate her." Personal tastes are just too varied for me to do that.

As for her profile saying her figure's "average," I don't think TER updates them very often from what was entered by the first reviewer, at least from what I've seen. Every other reviewer could very well have said she was big.

Regardless, there are many ways to find out a lady's appearance, so you have no one to blame but yourself if you didn't like how she looked.

Also, don't forget to use the "Report a Problem" link when you find a review that seems out of proportion.

Maybe TER needs to adjust the options listed under build. Reviewers might be reluctant to describe a lady whose company they enjoyed as "Heavy" or worse "Very Fat". Perhaps a softer term such as BBW would be a suitable replacement.

Personally, I try really hard to have accurate, up to date photos on my website so that people can decide BEFORE they come see me... but still, if you showed up at my door and were not attracted to me I would MUCH rather you tell me so from the getgo than "endure" anything for the sake of not hurting my feelings. YES you would hurt my feelings... but at least then I wouldn't be faced with a situation where I'm wondering why you aren't turned on... which eventually would hurt my feelings also.  

I'm here to have FUN! I cannot have fun if you are not having fun, by definition it just doesn't work!  I am not everyone's cup o' tea nor do I expect to be, I just hate the thought of anyone showing up, being like "ICK" and then ENDURING a session with me. ARGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

Let me add, especially in a situation where you feel you've been deliberately mislead, I don't think you OWE the girl ANYTHING other than to say I'm sorry, you are not what I expected, and leave!  I don't understand why you would stay if you didn't like her at all.  It is our job to present ourselves accurately.

I agree that maybe the average for body was the result of only the first reviewer.  After reading that review if I was one of the next reviewers I would make a comment as to that inaccuracy in the body of my review.  Also I would submit a problem report to TER.  We are trying to help each other with these reviews. If she is truly 5'2" and 190 pounds describing her build as average helps nobody.

I think you are one of the hottest women on the boards, on the net, on the planet. You remind me of Elizabeth Berkley but more natural looking and less harsh. I have never written you before. I don't know why but I saw your post and just thought I'd say that if I were a guy, you'd be my first choice.

Thanks for the thoughtful replies everyone. Yes she did have a website but it was down that day. Had I seen it I would not have called. The photo on her website was pretty old and she was quite a bit different from it as it were.

I should have handled it differently, paid a show up fee or something and left. I just would have felt so bad though.

Another point was brought up - maybe the subjects of these inflated reviews are so much better than what the guys have at home that anything is better. That might be a problem for me. I live with a beautiful lady and she is extremely hot in bed. Problem is, not nearly often enough. Kinda bitchy about half the time too! Sound familiar guys? I just need more and can't deal with the duplicity of another relationship. That is why I turn to the professionals!

I did submit a problem report to TER, and I had considered messaging those six guys to ask what is up with the reviews. I suspect at least one or so may be personal friends of the provider.

Another point brought up was the difference in personal tastes. Perhaps it would be a good idea for each reviewer to provide a brief up to date physical description, particularly if there is a discrepancy from what was in other reviews. Maybe there could be a box to check or something where each reviewer could verify the accuracy of the provider's stats.
