You have to love a world where asking for a discount is disrespectful, and asking if you can CIM is not.

Again, no universals here. If a lady advertises "safe only" then the above does not apply.

It seems to be mainly an American phenomenom, in most of the other countries I hobby in, negotiation is not only not condemned, but failure to negotiate makes one stand out, not as a "good guy", but as a sucker to be taken advantage of.

I do find it ironic that the sellers of an illegal service have managed to convince their cutomers what is, and what is not acceptable behavior on the part of their customers. I chalk it up to the fact that most American men have no balls where it comes to dealing with women. The large number of manginas on this very site would appear to validate my point.

I have no problem men asking me if I offer a special. They get an answer and all is good.

And I actually don't find it disrespectful at all. After all, I am the one with the last word on the subject and what I say goes, so carry on ....

at the Blue Marlin and get her upstairs is almost fruitless sometimes. That’s because they think their shit don’t stink in there. So I stick with the Tica’s and negotiate all day and night. lmao

Almost all providers give discounts or extra time for birthdays..
Fake IDs are easy to obtain and cheap.
I have 52 IDs with my real name and a birthday for every week of the year.

The days of Colombianas at the Blue Marlin seem to be a thing of the past. The Colombiannas, with very few exceptions have been run out of Costa Rica. Let's all have a moment of silence in recognition of the end of an era. lol

It's true, and it doesn't only apply to the Colombianas, on my last trip there (about two weeks ago), there are almost no Nicas, Dominicans or Colombianas there, it appears that immigration has run them all out of town. Good thing that I like Ticas just fine. lol

This trend seems to be spreading, Golden Times in Ciudad de Panama, used to have a line up of about thirty chicas on a nightly basis, the majority from Colombia, now has maybe a dozen chicas almost all native Panamanians. I was there just this last Thursday. I ended up at Club Miami and managed to find myself a hot little Colombiana from Medelling, so I guess not all is lost.

I don't personally try to negotiate rates, the difference a few bucks makes is irrelevant to me, but I don't get this whole "negotiating is disrespectful" attitude that most providers exhibit.  

To me a woman who puts that vibe out there, gives off an attitude that she is somehow superior to a simple "prostitute" and that even discussing a lower rate is insulting. Truth be told, that attitude just turns me off. Fortunately it never comes up in my personal life, I am more likely to give extra than to attempt to nefotiate for less, but that's just me. I don't want to fuck it up for the poor guy who has to save up for a month, just to get a little strange. Why shouldn't he be allowed to ask a woman if she would accept the equivelent of two days pay for an hour of her time as opposed to three days pay???

i would be highly offended, insulted, but above all else...HURT, if a client attempted to "negotiate" my rate. my rate is what it is because that is what i am comfortable and i know it is the LEAST of what i deserve. a client asking for a discount is telling me flat out: "you are worth less, you deserve less, and i think less of you." that would hurt quite a bit, as this is a very personal and intimate "business" in which we are engaged here. and especially as i have long-term and quite close relationships with my clients, it would be a real blow. that is not me putting on any airs, it is being a human being.

I have replied to post a few times here before and have never introduced myself, so let me do that first and wish a happy fathers day to everyone that applies to.

Rarely and I mean rarely do any try to negotiate (potential clients not ones that I see regularly or semi) and sometimes a mean mug beats my words but I just reply if you go to a restaurant and the bill is 23.55 you WILL NOT tell them ohhh hey I got 20 is that okay? Or I come here like once a week you can't cut me a break? lol smh

being "on sale" that day?  I don't like to put myself "On Sale", when I"m already.... "For Sale".  But, a private, friendly discussion is always welcome and helpful. I like to make sure that everyone is happy in the end.  It never hurts to discuss the finances, and work together to come up with a good compromise.  Great Post.

Could it be it was the Tica's and Tico's that ran them out of town and not the government?

I've never asked for discounts BUT have shared that i pay premium for those who can make me cim. Haven't spent too much money on that incentive.

The Ticas have no influence on what goes on, but I am sure that there were some "business interests" lol that were impacted by the Colombianas influence.

Somehow, the Colombianas/os were also suspected in drug/weapons smuggling and other organized type crimes. Go figure, who would ever think that someone from Colombia would ever be involved in those types pof activities??? lmao

I have to confess, although the Colombianas were by far the hottest, I think I have had more fun with the Ticas over the years. Of course that was before I started going to the source. lol

This whole restaurant analogy is actually funny... I happen to frequent several very good restaurants and the proprietor is constantly giving me discounts. Often they will buy me a beer or provide an appetizer "on the house" and you are right.. I DON"T have to ask.  It is quite common actually.... unless you are frequenting McDonalds or Burger King and that is what you mean by restaurant!!

There in lies the difference...you don't/didn't have to ask. The topic was about guys asking for discounts. And many women will give some extra time as a "discount" of sorts. Their discount is like the beer on the house...a very nice gesture for showing up regularly.

However I am pretty sure you don't get the final bill and ask if they will comp you 15% of the total.

it is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and not even in question here.  That is a different distinction completely.  
We are discussing "up front" conversation that either party can walk away from at any time...

it's about basic decency and respect for another human being. i would not want a man to tell me "up front" that he feels i am worth less than i know i am. i would want such a man to avoid me altogether.

Dear Lilli:
Let say it is near Christmas time and you wanted to ask your libidinal and socially constituency for a contribution to one of your favorite organizations. Would you be willing to give him a reprieve on compensation in exchange for participating in your program? Also would you have certain tiers with compensation incentives at certain tiers like they would do on public television? Just a thought for how you would conduct business if you where to give a break on the booty when you are on duty.
