Has any providers or hobbyists ended up meeting somone you knew from civvie life unexpectedly?  6 degrees of separation, I would have to think it happens.  If so, how did it go?  What was the story?

was meeting a gal at an MP, who recognized my name and asked if my grandmother was ever at so-and-so nursing home, which she was.  The gal had been an aide for her some ten years earlier.

It was no big deal.

the ending was not happier because she knew you already?

If your question refers to meeting as in having a session with. I had a request from someone I knew in my civie life but because of screening I dodged that drama.

the other way.  I often end up dating girls in my civvie life that I first met as providers.

Prob. 2-3 years after I graduated college, I walked in for a topless/massage/happy ending appointment and it was a with a girl I easily recognized from college. We had well over a thousand students in our class, so its possible she didn't remember me. During the massage we were talking and she mentioned that she in fact went to my college. When she asked me where I went to school (prob. seeing if I went there as well), of course I lied and mentioned a neighboring school. Nothing further was said and the appointment continued (I enjoyed fondling her big rack!). She finished me up with a great HJ and that was that. I never went back nor ever saw her again.

A little awkward for me throughout the session... but when you're horny, you do what you have to do!

I had an SB over at my house a couple of months ago and my business partner came over to pick up some paperwork. I didn't think anything of having her there when he came over, even though she is almost exactly half my age. He walks in and it turns out he knows her, she went to school with his younger brother.

I can't speak for either of them, but I didn't feel awkward for a moment, actually I was proud to get "caught" by my business partner who is much younger than me, with a hottie a good ten years younger than he. lol

If I were ever in your situation, I most probably would have told her, "You know, I've always wanted to do this with you" lol

A guy I used to work for texed me before as well as old Ok Cupid dates......never met with them. I would have though but they just never came through.ive had a lot of people recognize me from Twitter and from my ads in public. Although they usually just email me like "hey I just saw you on x and x street" lol like I said I wouldn't have a problem meeting with someone I know from square life....but unfortunately they expect freebies because of knowing you in a different way.....

I didn't say anything about our ending - it was not the best (and far from the worst), but it had no relationship to the fact she had cared for my grandmother

but hobby-hobby.

Two cases in point:

1.  I started seeing a gal who did doubles with another long time provider.  She was not all that happy that I started to see the gal independently, but she mostly kept that to herself.  I continued to see both independently. They had been fairly close friends up to that point.  Then one day I'm vacationing on an island with the first gal when whom do we see walking towards us on the beach?  Yup, her.  Talk about awkwardness and icy stares.

2.  I got to know a Korean massage gal down in New York very well over the course of a few years.  One day she invites me to her apartment, not for a session (We already had that at a nearby motel.) but to meet some of her family.  OK.   She introduces me to her sister and we recognize each other from a few sessions we had done a few years earlier.  (I thought the second gal looked familiar!)  But they both had already discussed me and there wasn't any animosity.  Just an uneasy smile on my face for a moment or two.

I bet similar situations pop up in the years to come

Two weeks after I saw an attractive young provider, she started working at the front desk of the gym where I worked out every other day. I teased her about knowing her from somewhere, but she clearly didn't remember me at all. She did say hi to me the next few times I came to the gym, but there was never any sign that she remembered our first encounter. It was like she had a twin sister. Maybe she did recognize me and just played it cool, and I failed to pick up on the social cues. Anyway, after the first conversation, I stopped talking about knowing her from somewhere.

The AMP girl is not going to write your name down somewhere to use as leverage against you someday. The same can not be said about even the most "well reviewed" TER providers.

Now that said, an AMP puts you at a whole bunch of other risks, but giving your real name at an AMP is hardly anything to worry about for someone like fish, or me, or you for that matter. The moment you are gone, no one is going to remember your last name, and probably not your first name either. lol

1) A few years out of high school, I saw a former classmate working as a streetwalker.
2) Ran into a cousin at a strip club. She was a stripper, not a customer.
3) A streetwalker that I saw about 4 or 5 times might have been a distant cousin. As I got to know her and we were just shooting the shit, she told me her real last name and the town she was from. It was a small town and I had relatives in that town who had the same last name.

sponge bath stories and the ending but then decided the best I could possibly accomplish was coming across as RIP so....

There has to be some good joke in that story though!

I'm surprised an AMP would ask you for your name. I've just never been asked for my name at an AMP. AMPs here don't exactly do any screening. Usually the first question they ask when you walk in is "have you been here before?"
Maybe if you call for an appointment, instead of just walking in, you give your first name, but I have never heard of or been to an AMP that asked for a last name or an ID.

They simply don't care about such things at AMPs, but keep in mind this is fishbro we are talking about and he is a VERY friendly guy and probably just volunteered the information while making conversation.

I went into a massage parlor that I frequented on a regular basis and I run into a girl that was an ex of my best friend. She was embarrassed to see me there and didn't want me as a customer. It didn't take much to convince her to see me and I finally got to do what I had always wanted to do anyway. I saw her weekly for 3 years as a paying customer until she decided to quit the business. It was a really good time, I wish she would have continued to work. She had some dick head for a boyfriend so after she quit we pretty much lost touch with each other.

but at an MP, where yes, they are required to take names and one must show an ID to work there per LE licensing laws.

No matter however, I've been going to this MP for decades now.  It could well be the oldest such establishment in the US for all I know

She was quite popular down at the pool. Eye contact and a few words in the Jacuzzi.  No issues.

Had been seeing one girl at an AMP about 6 times in 3 months. Went to a charity event an she was there with a girlfriend. Then I saw a guy hanging on her. 20 years difference. He had to have met her at the MP. A week later got invited to a party at his house by another friend. Didn't know it was his an that's when I met him. 2 minutes later I met his girlfriend. The girl from the MP. she didn't recognize me. I guess he's a lucky guy. He's happy.

Many MANY years ago my friend was unavailable for a regular client of hers and referred him to me. We spoke, set an appointment and met shortly after. He was a nice guy and had a fun session but then in conversation while cleaning up we discovered we grew up in the same city. He was maybe a year younger than me so when he mentioned the schools he attended, it hit me! I didn't recognize him immediately because he transferred in the middle of the school year and then went onto attend the alternative high school.  But I clearly remember he was the cute new boy that all the 8th grade girls had a crush on. He however did not remember me (which wasn't surprising since I was a shy timid Asian girl in honors classes). His best friend dated my best friend so when I named certain kids I hung out with, he quickly left and I never saw him again. He didn't even give me a chance to tell him I haven't had contact with them since middle school. Lol  Felt bad that he freaked out but I felt even worse that he never contacted my friend again...

A few years back I met a lady who attended my High School.  She is 10 years younger than me.  When I found out we had graduated from the same HS, I did not want to ask too many more questions.  As it turned out, I believe she was a neighbor of my BFF, and may have been childhood friends with a cousin.  I just smiled and commented it was a small world.  Had a great time with her and no discomfort.  Sometimes it is better to leave things unsaid.

I was grabbing coffee during my break from my internship and one of the gents I had meet before was in line behind me. I was hoping he wouldn't recognize me in my office attire but he did, he was really kind about it. He didn't make it akward at all . We ended up chatting for a little

Years ago, in my single days, I lived in quite the crazy apartment building.  All sorts of stuff went on.  There was a girl there I'd recognized from Thatmall, but never had the nerve to call.  Didn't want to freak her out.  Or have my neighbors find out my secret life... though they probably knew anyway.

Haven't had any other connections like that.
