I don't think it would pose a problem so to speak...

I recently had surgery leaving me with a colostomy bag.  How do I go about finding out if that would pose a problem?

I can cover the set up with a wrap or tuxedo cumberbund.

I think you would just have to find a provider willing to overlook it. Sorry this happened to you! Good luck!

to hold the bag in place but don't wrap to tight. They have a new cling tight and that works the best. I have a friend who uses this and it seems to work for us.

In many cases a colostomy is a stop gap measure while things are healing inside. Once any infection is gone surgery to remove it and get things up and running again is performed.

Either way, my friend has had his for many years and it has never been a problem for us.

I wish you well and hope you find the perfect lady for you.

and then a final surgery to reverse it.  Now I've only a couple of scars and another 6 months (they tell me) to full and final recovery.

But during those two months I really didn't have the urge... or even the energy to attempt sexual activities.

So Kudos to you!

There are number of products... they gave me a catalog at the hospital.  Some are even designed for sports activities... jogging, swimming, and so on, but these might be helpful during intimate activities as the goal is similar... to keep the bag in place for a shorter amount of time.

There are some "prep" wipes which I found very helpful to keep the wafer in place for 2 to 3 days.  I ended up changing things every 2 days.  3 days was "iffy" and 4 days I ended up having leaks.

In any case.. you have my full sympathies.
