Wondering your thoughts on the best city to provide in -- best clientele, cost of living vs. average rates, low risk for LE, etc etc. Personally, I like smaller cities, like Boston and Seattle, but I'm sure there's some of you ladies out there who like the big wig NY and LA scenes!

EVERY single city has its good, its bad, its low rates, high rates, higher priced areas and lower cost areas...

I think every city can have LE risk...

There is good and bad clients EVERY where you go whether it be a big city, or a small city...

I have not traveled to other cities  outside of the Bay Area, because I have kids and can not leave....
I have wanted to tour the East Coast for a LONG time, maybe some day, but we will see lol

rate I ask. I also do well but not volume wise in places like D.C. and Manhattan, where my rate goes up. I tried Minnesota once to see my friend, and bombed big time. They said I was too "skinny" bwahahaaha. Wtf ever! In places like Manhattan I charge 800 for 2 hours, and see no more than 2 guys a day, then I hike to Stamford at 400 per 90 min. and see the exact same volume, but my hotel is a third of the cost.

I have never used Eros for the busy cities either...not worth it. I simply do not stand out in a crowd of that many women, so I stick with TER for that. When I want to go to say Memphis or Alabama, I hit Eros and make a killing.

I have helped several women tour my city who always do better than me, but rates and looks play a huge part. I don't want to see many guys in my local area for obvious reasons, so I have priced myself out of the local market to do just that. I attract mostly visitors from other areas who actually have money, and don't know my family lol.

You have to play around with it really...trial and error. I no longer tour unless my expenses are paid, because it is too much of a hassle. If I actually WANT to see a city or take a vacation now, I will place an ad and see what happens. I can tell you if you don't get at least 2 pre-bookings per day you are there, it's not worth the trip, unless you don't mind last minute. I don't play that shit.

Anchorage seems to be good for some touring providers that I have seen there.  I used to travel there frequently and actually started this hobby on my last trip there.  While I was there I saw three touring providers and one local provider.  Two of the touring providers I saw were from AZ.

Some things to know about Anchorage:

1.  LE doesn't seem to care so much.  One of the touring providers I saw was in an upscale hotel for over a month, and it seems that hotel management knew what she was doing but didn't seem to care (someone at the hotel once asked her how business was).  Heck, even weed is practically legal there.
2.  IMO, there really isn't much competition from local talent.  There is one local provider that is now active on TER and is local there, but she was UTR when I was there and I didn't get to see her.  Too bad for me, because she is probably the one current local that would appeal to me and I would try to see her if I return to AK.  I did see a different local provider that I would not repeat with.
3.  It seems that you will likely need to advertise on BP for that market, although that local provider I would see advertises in the Other Cities section of TER as well.
4.  From what the touring providers told me, they like the AK market.  Lots of men, most away from home on business, lots of disposable income.  Apparently they also treated the women well.
5.  Unless you like colder climates,you might want to wait until May to tour there.  If you don't mind the cold (or figure that most of your time will be spent indoors), there shouldn't be too much snow yet.  Just make sure your hotel has a restaurant and/or room service if you don't want to venture outdoors.

I don't get a "small town" feel from Boston but I like the Boston area.  A real smaller area where the avg rates are decent (not sure of cost of living but it can't be too bad in that general area), good clientele, didn't feel an overwhelming sense of LE etc is another New England gem of Portland Maine.  I like Hartford CT area a lot too.

But I agree I dunno about a best....it's more like a where's best for you. Some places I bombed in or just broke even in lol are damn near little gold mines for others and vice versa.

You can get 4 and 5 Star Hotels in the south for less than 200. A 3 room suite might go for 3.

Cleveland sure gets it share of ridicule in the press, but, it is a great place to live and work.
Cleveland rocks for providers also.

I did really good in Boston, spent several nites there with a lady in Aug.
I was getting some awesome deals through expedia, etc.
The rates otherwise are rediculous.

It is more of a trial and error kind of thing. I've always done great in Springfield, and Worcester mass. I have great regular clients around those areas. I just went to Boston a few weeks ago and didn't do well at all

I have children like CaitlynKennedy said. I live in RI and I only provide on the weekends so I try to stay not far from my area. But since its only on the wkends I really need to try and do well.

I've never been to Hartford area though. I feel there might be more providers around there. Any one have suggestions on a good area to go around there?

... (imo) downtown Hartford and just east in East Hartford (did not notice a difference in business). But Windsor Locks CT is where some providers go too that looks like a happy medium about 20mins north of Hartford city center and about 20mins south of Springfied MA.

I've been to Windsor locks area in the beginning of summer time and did horrible. Maybe because it was summer time. Plus I wasn't a member of this great website and I had no reviews.

You're very welcome.  You can check on BP ads for Alaska, and also other sources (not sure if I am allowed to name them here because they may also support reviews).  That will give you an idea of the talent in the area.  It wouldn't surprise me if some of the touring providers don't go during the winter, so the talent pool will be even more shallow.  You could possibly do well there.  I know I'd see you if I were going to be there.
