How do you folks go about getting confidential STD testing?  There are many web sites that offer it.  Any particular ones that you recommend? Or do you go through your doctor?

Or go to sites like gettested.com  it's confidential.

You can also get your own test kits too but not sure how reliable they are.

Me I just go to my doctor and tell him I'm an active guy who thinks with his dick. He doesn't ask any further questions than that. Gets me tested on a schedule and best part is my health insurance covers it

Every 90 days is not really that suspect, I am not married, and it's not his business to worry about they 'why.' Most docs are happy to take your money, and appreciate the fact that you get tested at all. I tried the community clinic, but I feared a MRSA infection upon arriving. I would rather just pay more.

The only time I was really grilled about sexual habits and drugs was in regards to giving blood or plasma. Truth be told, I slept with less people as a provider than I did back in my younger years, and I was always protected as a provider... for sex, that is.

...was when I told him that the provider (who gave it to me) said she got it from using her roommate's Hitachi. LMAO with my GP. After he stopped laughing, he said: "that's a slim possibility."

In the remote chance you get HIV positive,  they are required to divulge your identity to health department.   I'm sure there are other diseases included in that list.  No idea if this law applies in every state though but the law exists where I live.

I don't do anything too risky so I don't mind using my primary care.
I would rather use the money to see another girl (or buy a nice bottle of blue label)  instead of spending it on clinics.

I go to one of the commercial outfits here in Atlanta i.e. anylabtest. Walk in, tell 'em I want to pay cash. They give you a form to fill out where you write down a fictitious name and address. Pay, get a receipt, and leave. Come back a week later, show receipt, get results. Book appointment!
