Has anyone else had an issue with this...

You get an email from someone who is on your rolodex and it's a link. Or maybe you get several at one time, or every now and then through the day, but these links keep coming to your email box..... I've been responding kindly letting them know that something has compromised their account, to please change their email password, and forward this information to abuse at yahoo.

My concern is this folks.....

When that spam link gets sent out, everyone it sends that to gets a copy or everyone elses email addresses on that recipient list.

What happens if your wife and your ATF both get a spam message from you???????

Guys, shouldn't we be treating this situation with a bit more caution????

I too will email them and let them know they may want to change their email address.

Only one has responded to date and so far no more emails.  The other ones I keep getting from the same emails...well just might have to block them since it sure appears they don't check their email any longer.

It is quit annoying and worse you get others email addresses along with the link..

Another reason to have a seperate e-mail for this just as with your phone.

Try sending that person a new email, without the spam content in it, and tell them to check their spam box, because when you send that spam back enough times, it tags your box as a spam originator too lol. Tricky little thing there.

I guess I should have included getting a separate email addy for the hobby kit post a few weeks back lol
