Just checked the ladies you saw and all are from bp, very low number of reviews, and don't have an account linked to their TER reviews..

If you do you homework that does not happen. Yes I got caught like that but only because of crap like that. What do you think TER is for? Back-channeling? Other review sites? To avoid like that. Use them they work. Not much to do after you paid.

From what others said, you get most of your providers off BP, not generally thought of as a good idea.  If you had researched her, you would have been aware of her tactics, if she had any reviews that is.  I suspect she did not.  What happened sucks, but IMHO, it's your fault for not checking her out carefully.  Sorry......

He didn't say he had bad experiences with any of his reviewed girls, and from reading them, only one was unsatisfactory. He was merely asking "what if".

So he uses Backpage. Seems like has been having decent luck so far.  A couple of the girls had decent reviews, one had good reviews and he became the first review for the rest, thereby taking one for the team. I would be grateful to him for that at least.

And trashing him for his economic status?  Wow is right. Every one has their own comfortable expenditure allowance. Why be a douche and rag on someone for being in a different financial situation?
The fact is he IS reviewing, contributing, and trying to be an active member of the TER community by seeking advice on a subject that is all too common, dishonest and deceptive practices.

And 22pheonix, my suggestion is that if you find yourself in an up-sell situation, barring any sense of risk or danger, hold her to her word.  If she says it's for back rub, time and companionship, whatever, just say "OK fine, start my hour long back rub now please". Or "GREAT! Do you like Chess?" Or what ever else you can think of. Take the FULL extent of the time you have paid for. If she complains, ask for a refund. What ever you do, don't buy the up-sell. If you do, you only encourage the behavior. While your little head may be mad at you, your big head will feel better about it in the long run, and that's the head you spend most of the day dealing with.

Most of the ones I reviewed were nice and did not upsale.  I had the upsale experience once, but it was before I knew of this site - otherwise i would have given that girl a bad review.

The problem is the girls I met in the past were brand new girls.  New girls do not have many reviews.

I did not review the girl from the 1 time it happened.  It was before I started up on this site.

well what if it was one of the 1st few times.  Not everyone is as experienced as you may be now.  Back when it was your 1st time did you know everything there was to know???  If yes then you are a boyscout and very prepared.

Thank you - you were the only one that actually gave a real suggestion.  I guess the others have never had a bad experience ever.  Plus I guess they only go for girls with experience instead of newer girls.  A newer girl will have very few reviews.  

I owuld guess that most people when new have maybe made a mistake or two in the begining, but some of the guys here seem as if they are 100% perfect and have never had a bad experience.  Basically this was to get answers from people who may have had a bad experience in the past.  

Unfortunately most of the guys seem to be either very lucky, or geniuses and have never made a mistake in their lives.  This has only happened to me 1 time in 2011 before I even found theeroticrevew.  

Cwillzx thank you got posting useful info, and for understanding that not every guy can afford to get together with girls that cost $400-$900 for a 1/2 hour.

How do you know who he was seeing? I mean I agree don't see BP girls but if they aren't linked to TER how would you know who he's seeing?

Newer girls would not have many reviews though.  If there are not many reviews how can you tell if she is going to be a scammer, or if shes good?

I am relatively new to this hobby I have not seen 100s of girls like some of you.  I am still learning some stuff as I do not do this as frequently as others.  The point of this board is so questions can be asked and Positve advice can be given.  Not everyone here is perfect like a few of you seem to be.  Is it so hard to give positive advise?

Jackie - but how can you tell.  Some girls that are newer may not have many reviews.  Either that or the girl can claim to be new.
