Okay, so I've been logging in to TER messenger while multitasking with other things I'm doing on my computer/online for a simple excuse to procrastinate and perhaps make a new friend or two along the way.

Yet the message pattern I've been noticing amongst a few (the term "a few" used lightly lol) has been going something like this:

It is extremely rare for me to mention anything even remotely sexual in chat, email, PM or anything else -- even with women I have seen.

My view is that sex talk can happen BCD in person.

Was your problem that he discussed sex with a provider on a sexually-oriented site, or that he was cheap?

However there is issue of legality as well.

Would that create situation of clear cut acceptance of $$$ for sex?

His statement "what do you like to do in 30 minutes" sounds more like he wanted her to titulate him for free rather than haggle her down to a discounted 30 min session. The guy in her example made it pretty clear he wasn't going to see her professionally...
it wasn't just that he wasn't going to pay double,
it wasn't that he wasn't going to tip 50%,
it was more that he stated she was "out of his tax bracket" (meaning he wasn't going to see her professionally at all).

So basically he didn't want to book an appointment, he didn't want to get to know her to see if they would "click"...

There are sites that offer that for a fee and he should avail himself of those if that is what he wants.

If you were to read her site, she doesn't list a menu, or a string of acronyms, her site isn't overtly sexual, and even her photos show a class without any vulgar or explicit images.

Given the nature of this forum, it stands to reason that sex will be a frequent discussion topic in a chat room.  But, it doesn't have to dominate every conversation.  You can pick a topic and converse about it with whomever you like.  Still, a chat room might be a good place to make known your general availability and pick up some new clients.  Unfortunately, since the TER website renovation, I've not been able to access a chat room at all.

I often give people more credit than they deserve by default, erring on the side of kindness.

Of course, it can never be forgotten that mercy to the guilty is treason to the innocent; so there has to be a limit to that.
