I am most certain they write down things..

I am constantly amazed by the fact that the ladies I see are able to remember things about me or things we have discussed sometimes weeks after we have met.  Granted with an ATF that you see with some regularity, you might expect that level of retention, but I've got quite a few 'friends' in several cities where we might only get together 2-3 times a year and nearly every one of them remembers the little stuff.

Do you ladies take notes and keep a journal or is this just a female thing where you have excellent powers of observation and retention.

For me, I like to remember things about my friends like food or music preferences, or whether or not they have a dog or like animals, what their political or religious leanings might be or any number of other conversational things that allow us to pick up where we left off the last time, but I have a relatively small circle of friends.  Even with that small circle, it can sometimes be difficult remembering certain details.

I can guarantee that her circle of 'friends' is much larger than mine, so I'm curious how you ladies do it. Do you take notes or are woman just way better at this than me?

PS for the guys that are pumpers and dumpers, this question makes no sense to you...I get it.  Just try to curb your acerbic wit for a few moments and let the ladies respond, then feel free to let loose so we can all enjoy a good laugh.

...when it comes to someone I have been intimate with. I don't need to keep a journal. It's also a matter of how much time we spent together. In my experience, the longer the date, the more "little things" are shared.

It's like when you're dating someone you remember the little things you talk about when getting to know one another. I think it's all  part of the "Girlfriend Experience" we provide. I'd be a horrible temporary girlfriend if I couldn't recall anything about a temporary boyfriend that I've already gotten to know before. Although we aren't talking about traditional relationships, it's the closest thing I can compare it to.

Clients are astounded when I recall work situations/promotions/projects, family problems, kids names, personal hobbies- basically every little detail that they want to chat about in an appointment.

I don't take notes, I just have a good memory and it seems that most men like it when I can reference whatever they've shared with me when they contact me again be it a month, a few months or a couple of years later.  I may not remember a name of a client I haven't seen in a long while but once prompted with a little reminder of the circumstances of our meeting I can usually remember everything he shared with me.  I just take it all in and run it back when catching up with them during little downtime interludes, over cocktails- whatever.

Some providers, myself included, are just really present and genuinely interested in the men we spend time with so we really listen and draw upon it to let the client know 'yes, I remember you, you are memorable to me, you are not just a number or a dollar sign'.

But as far as pure memory goes, it may be a woman thing- we store everything in our mental 'vault' lol.

If I really like a guy, or feel a connection, I can remember just about everything about him.  Likewise, if I really dislike a guy, I really remember him too.  lol

If he doesn't make an impression either way, then I remember less, but I do usually remember where we previously met (I can usually 'see' the hotel room in my head), and his occupation, for example.

No notes necessary (not to mention that they would be dangerous!).

Sometimes I don't remember their name or email address, so I may not remember them until they walk in the door, but once I see them, it all comes back to me.

Guys I've met, who post on TER regularly, are not easy to forget...other than that, I don't really see but a few people from my local area. Most are guys who have known me for years, so nothing to really have to write down. The way I provide a reference is only by handle, city, and having him name the hotel he saw me at or what I wore for our date. I don't keep any info. on my clients, because it's too much of a hassle, and that gives LE something to barter with if I ever get in a jam. Nothing to give..nothing to try and manipulate me with.

I usually remember what their beverage of choice is, things they may enjoy during our time together or how they like something done.  Even penis size to have the right size condoms out.

Even if it is a gent that I saw maybe once or twice in a year I can recall certain things we discussed during our time together.Especially if it is a gent that I saw for a multi-hour appt.
There is no need for me to make notes on gents for me it is not that serious to do that.
Many gents are pleasantly surprised when I remember what we discussed the last time we were together.
I will say I have had gents who I saw in the past and see again that have remembered certain things I mentioned during conversations. There is one gent who even remembered I had a dog and his name!
I was so surprised so I guess there are gents as well who have great memories along with us ladies:)
Even if I do not remember initially after seeing a gent again in the course of conversation I might remember little details from our last time together.

It's a huge turn off when a lady confuses you for another client, especially if they reveal sensitive information:

Provider: "How's work?"
Client: "Oh it's fine, the usual."
P: "Are you still the [high position] at X company?"
C: "No.. I work at Y company."
P: "Oh, sorry that's a different client"

have memories like elephants :-)  Guys have trouble remembering their own birthday, but any woman can remember something you did or said 5 years ago, good or bad, and bring it up at any time that it is useful to her.  One of the powers they got from Venus ;-)

Fine
This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

Five Minutes
If she is getting dressed, this is half an hour.
Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given 5 more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

Nothing
This is the calm before the storm. This means "something" and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with "nothing" usually end in "fine".

Go Ahead
This is a dare, not permission, DON'T DO IT!

Loud Sigh
Although not actually a word, the loud sigh is often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing".

That's Okay
This is one of the most dangerous statements that woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

Thanks

This is the least used of all words in the female vocabulary. If a woman is thanking you, do not question it. Just say you're welcome and back out of the room slowly.
