I've had the best luck with Erosguide.com. They do have scams there, but nothing like the other sites mentioned. They're in a position to take that extra step, I think.

If erosguide started doing the photo authentication and a little screening and background for rip-offs, their position as the premier adult entertainment Web site would be forever ensured.

I also like http://www.cityvibe.com/ BUT right now they have an SF Escort called Brittney up on their front page as girl of the month, despite the fact that she has had several rip-off reviews. I don’t know how much money she paid for the position, but it seems to me that cityvibe shouldn’t make a rip-off provider girl of the month. I’ve lost respect for cityvibe and will hesitate in using them.

Though the actual rip-off reviews seem to be gone or upgraded now, this girl gets consistently low marks. The same girl is found in two places on TER.

It came up on the San Diego board in a discusion about Exotics.com being unreliable.

What are your favorite Escort Webmalls?

Which ones are suspect or flat-out fraudulent?

Do you have a favorite personal Escort Web site?

I travel often and found that Exotics is consistently unreliable. They take ads from bait & switch ops and providers on Ripoff lists. They laugh at complaints about scams, so long as advertisers pay. It's the tobacco company mentality. Money trumps everything. They'd probably take an ad from Swamp Thing claiming to be a supermodel GFE. How do you spell G R E E D.
Everybody's old nemesis TBD - "The Big Dog" - and his slow profit minicenter TBDXCiteMe is not much better. TBDX is full of "no service" dancers and agencies, Amaya who was exposed on TBD for cash&dash, and Dr Phil's exploitive enterprise.
It's to the point where I only look at Eros, plus a handful of reliable upper crust agency sites that are well known and reputable such as SouthCoastVIPs. There are a few in every big city. Even Eros continues to run several ads of scam non-providers in DC who keep changing their names to deceive hobbyists. E g, Trinet is on her third new name, after Terri, and an even earlier one.
I always laugh at Atlanta Eros and the 15 year old pics of bubble butt Barbie aka Jeannie the name changer who now is 40+ and has more of a whale butt instead. Badja has an occasional name change there too, but still looks hot on Eros if you like no service.
You just have to depend upon multiple reviews here on TER.
Be aware that scammers try to get friends and relatives to post here too to build up a reputation. Often a new provider gets two great reviews then you start seeing real reviews that say: "I should have stayed home and whacked off!"
Both Florida and southern California tend to have many total bait&switch agencies and cash&dash indys. Look at the long Ripoff list, which is mostly southern California. There are plenty elsewhere, especially in south Florida, the bait&switch capitol of the East.
Web designers get more creative every day. I used to keep a Word file of great creative websites, but soon was overwhelmed.

I echo the sentiments of The Lost Schlong.

There is NO webwall or escort website that is completely honest.

Generally speaking, EROS is among the better ones.

Exotic is among the worst.  They have so many scam artist advertising there it is not even funny.   I got taken for a ride one time around, and had an extensive discussion with the owner.  She apologized, and made a few suggestions... but that was it.

Frankly, it would be great if there was a website that encompassed the following:

1.  Actually had the provider visit their office and verify the authencity of the pictures, social security number, etc ... That was no bait & switch, and you weed out LE

2.  A series of complaints and the provider is banned from adverstising there

TER and other review boards provide an alternative -- but they too are not fail proof.  There have been numerous instances where the provider has posted several glowing reviews of herself, or had her husband/boyfriend post a few, or have friends (who maybe providers themselves) post a few and reciprocate the favor.

When reviewing the posts, I take a look at the number of reviews a provider has received, and more importantly who posted them.  If the provider is NEW, and so is the REVIEWER that should send off warning bells.

Personally, I think a recommendation from a trusted friend is the best. That way you know the skinny ...

I am *done* with experimenting.  I have a dependable, commercial relationship with two responsible women.  Should they decide to leave the biz, then I will look again.  The risk of being disappointed is just too great.  I am not jaded -- I am cynical ;-)
