I make sure I'm VERY punctual for my appointments. Some how half the providers I see are not. For example, this provider I would have seen the 3rd time

1st time: punctual
2nd time: waited 20 min past our appointed time
3rd time: waited 45 min before I bailed

logic tells me she's late because she just finished with a client so I really don't want sloppy seconds.

Depends.  If I'm stuck in a hotel room with no where to go, maybe 30 minutes before I call and say skip it.  If it's a hotel room I've paid for for the session, I call within 15 minutes if she's late to make sure she's coming.  If it's one of those "drive to the intersection and call" deals and there's no response, maybe 5 minutes.

I don't think that i8s the case about sloppy seconds.  Many sp's are just insecure and want to make sure they look perfect and don't realize too how long it takes to get somewhere.

And although this is a business we are still women.  How many GF's/SO's have you had to wait for when going out?

I wouldn't wait for more than 15-20 min. That is if the person did not call me to give me a heads up.

When I am running late, (and yeah, sometimes it is because I might have had another appointment) I call no later than the scheduled time. That way, the gent can decide on what they want to do.

Maybe you should find another provider if she showed 45 minutes late.
