How I relieve stress

We have a Masseur here at the ranch and a chiropractor who comes in twice a week in the evenings to treat us.

During the afternoon, I take a workout break to exercise in our saltwater pool which Dennis keeps at about 94 degrees.  My form is exercise if jogging in the pool and isometric exercises.  The buoyancy of the water makes it feel more like play.

In the winter, I do cardio by hiking.

On my days off, I live on a real 2 1/2 acre ranch at the base of a mountain and there are bands of wild mustangs roaming around.  Being in nature and appreciating the Wild Mustangs puts me in a Zen-like trance and all my stress leaves me.  I feel renewed and invigorated

What do you do to relieve a stressful day, week, month...
Sex
Yoga
Cardio
Comfort Food
Drugs
Alcohol.........  What's your choice/choices????

I ❤️💜💖💛💛💙 this picture!!! Have a wonderful stress free week everyone!!! I know I will!!!

living alone that's not often an option.

I find my best way to relieve the stress of work when I get home is to fall into a comfortable routine of showering, making dinner, reading the paper and going on line.

I also play the keyboard, meditate, call my inamorata, and read before going to bed.

It seems to do the trick.

Take a Xanax, lick champagne and whipped cream from each others' bodies, and then test our limits of flexibility while going at it together like rabbits?

OK, so we skip the Xanax. But bring on the rest!!!    ;)

pick on Gemma & hobbyist truth,  and bully them around.
lol it's really fun.  :D

But the desired effect is lost on me because I enjoy the banter. If you want the requisite reaction don't you have to pick on someone who hates it?

albeit quite feebly, reference the DungBeetle or TurdBoy if you have any questions.:)

Engaging in banter where there is give and take is much more fun than beating on a piñata, but piñatas do have their place here on the boards as well. I kind of miss the Dungbeetle, and who knows we may miss TurdBoy after he's be gone a while as well.

Seems like the 10 day penalty is the favored one.....

But sometimes it can be a major penalty at 30 days.

I'm hoping for only the 10 day and an abatement on that due to good behavior on the combatants parts.

Or I fear the boards will be inundated with threads asking "where do I put my cum" shortly.  Not that those in and of themselves are bad OP's...but if you're playing shorthanded it's just not as much fun.

Hawks tonight...4-1 final...Hawks win.  They watched Boston screw up last night and don't need to press their luck here.

But then considering cpa is more of a board buddy, I try not to pick on him. Not that he's a match for my wits. lol

Not sure where jack went,  did he fall into a manhole somewhere?

CPA is a board bully...there, I said it and feel better now.

I think you two are (nit) wits and no challenge to my board skills.

HEY NOW...I wish I could claim that as mine...but who is going to stop me if I do?

But nah..
Shooting guns is probably the best way to let off steam.
Especially skeet. (Clay Pigeon)
Then play bass...
Then have sex because I'll be all relaxed...
Then alcohol, and drugs...
Then maybe Oragami

A great workout, great sex, good Vodka, good food.

The larger the caliber the better.  Handguns more so than rifle, which is very disciplined.

I shoot competitive practical pistol that is scenario-based (IDPA) and it's a major rush.  Dumping three mags of .45 on bad guys in a shoot house with non-threats to shoot around and moving targets and scoring well is a huge stress reliever.  It's nothing like shooting on a range.

Two to the body and one to the head!

I come home after burning through a couple hundred rounds serene and all is right with the world.  Even a little afterglow, or is that powder residue?

a few hours at the range or a day hunting is a great way to relieve stress!

PS: My two chocolate labs are great duck & goose retrievers!

The best ways to relieve stress are through sports/physical activities and reading. I read at least 50 books a year and get involved with coaching my kids sports teams and playing Ultimate Frisbee and basketball.

And the wild mustangs, well that just tops it off beautifully.
