I have a turntable and love playing music during a session; I mostly choose swing music or classical (it's wonderfully diverse, and can set the tone to be soothing, invigorating, romantic, or all at once), but I want to build my vinyl collection, so I'm wondering what clients might like to hear as they make sweet, sweet love to me.

Today I met with my ATF and she had very quiet smooth jazz in the background. I loved it because I did barely noticed it.  

Yeah that seems right. These preferences will vary person to person, and just asking your dates is probably a great idea. But then, what should you buy for your collection to be prepared for the answers? If you're trying to get a general concession I'll throw in my vote. I've met a couple ladies I was pretty crazy about but I just could not stand the rap they played all through the sessions.

oral, and swing during mish and CG is just fine with me.  Wish you were in California.  I get a lot of young providers playing electric music, and I have to ask them to turn it off.  Its completely annoying.

Jazz is a great suggestion! In fact, I just ordered some Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald...I hope they're more sultry and less moody when played at the right moment.

Asking is a great idea, but I'd be likely to disappoint unless I want to collect some from every genre. Perhaps a simple choice, like "Beethoven or Mahler" or "classical or swing" would be better

I hate to sound like a "too good for pop culture" hipster, but...I do think popular music from times gone by was far more thoughtful and just pleasant to listen to.

Background music for us hard of hearing old gents just makes understanding things said more difficult.

I am assuming that the majority of your suitors are extremely cultured and well educated.  I myself tend to gravitate to some smooth R&B or some jazz when I engage in activity with someone of your stature.

And cool jazz or some of the modern digital. Sort of synthesized loop tape kind of thing with a steady rhythm. My favorite jazz for years has been Regina Carter. I don't like lyrics, especially in session, because lyrics are too much of a guide to the emotions. Think about it, Wildwood Flower is unrequited love with the lyrics, but instrumental it's just wherever your mind and the music takes you. Most digital is so repetitious on one phrase that it's just voice as instrument.

and then you have to get up and flip the record over.

so while I like background music, it needs to be low enough to not be distracting... or at least let your guest select volume.  I KNOW for a fact I am hypersensitive to sounds.  I think you need to switch to recorded media at some point.  Many gals use timed playlists & it's easy to have a choice of jandra.  I think it would be fun to have a few of each type ready.  Aiming the speakers toward the door & away from the bed area helps mask sounds & softens the music.

Just not too loud, and no commercials!  Jazz and classical are least distracting...Barry White always works.  Save the Floyd, Yes, Beatles, Stones, and classic rock for afterglow time.  And never with '70's disco...

That is proves a need in intimate communication BEFORE date will take place - to taste the waters - if there anything what he or she must to know about each other in order to date be fulfilling its purpose-
I want ask ladies and gentlemen .. how you do approach such need in knowing each other before date?

As I started hobbying with some semblance of regularity, I noticed that almost all providers played music during the session. Most had an affinity for smooth jazz.  It wasn't my genre of choice, but I didn't question it.  Plus, I was there for the music, if you catch my drift.  One provider I saw played hard techno trance.  Now *that* was freaking awesome!  Even though much of it had to do with chemistry and being close in age, rather than the music.  I got really into the session like never before, and pretty much floated out of her incall afterwards .  That provider was Charlotte, who, unfortunately, retired by now.
