If a black cat breaks a mirror, will he still have bad luck?

I gotta know. My cat, who is all black knocked a mirror off my dresser. Is the poor fellow going to suffer through seven years of falling off the bed, and running into furniture?? He's 8 years old, so that would be like a life sentence for him.

But you need to dye his fur a different color within 24 hours or he will indeed be doomed.

If he's Hispanic, two or more negatives intensify the negative.  If he's English, two negatives make a positive. If he's English, he's okay, you just have to make sure he doesn't get a third negative. Never set ladders around him.

How do you find out?  He'll either say "Meow" or "El emao."

It might be worse than you think for kitty.  What if the streak of bad luck extends across all 9 lives?  Gee, that poor cat is screwed.

But what's the worst luck of all for any cat?  Wandering past a Pakistani restaurant as they're preparing the lunch specials?  [I know, i know, it's not very  PC.  Hold the complaints.  I only wonder what American jokes are current these days in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.  Probably something about taxi passengers in NYC?]

BTW, I've had a run of terrible lucky, black cats avoid xing my path, and I buy my mirrors pre-broken.  Just to avoid the unnecessary suspense.

Also BTW, could you post a picture of the cat?  That'll show Oldest Fat Fart a thing or two [LOL].

so there would be no effect at all.

Cats break mirrors on purpose to show the cat in there a thing or two about treading on his territory.

Cats also can see ghosts and other entities from the astral plane and that's why they seem to go nuts for no reason at all sometimes.

If a cat is ever trying to get your attention and tell you something, you ignore it at your peril.

This all may sound cute, but believe me, I have good reason to believe all of this.

Luckily... if he's a Catholic Hispanic, he's superstitious.

Therefore, another two negatives can reverse his curse.

Scooch him under a ladder and have him meow 'Macbeth' in a theatre and you'll both be fine.  ;)

...actually I don't.  It's more of a statement.  It's kinda on topic, though.  So that's something, I guess.  Oh well.  Urgent?  O.k., maybe my statement isn't all that urgent.  Perhaps as urgent as the thread's original question.  I don't know.  Y'all tell me.  O.k.?

Well, here's my statement:

I just got a cat!!  I got it last Tueday!

I had to swerve a bit, but by God I got it!

O.k.- I know I'm going to Hell for this, but feel free to flame away.  I can only burn but so much.

p.s.- the reason I'm going to burn is because this is just a joke.

Well he might be. When he goes running through the house for no apparent reason the way cats do, he hums the song "La Cuca Racha" (sp?) as he is running :o )
