I have taken exceptionally talented, beautiful and friendly providers shopping before a date. Preferably to a place like Bebe in San Francisco (where I am located) where she can buy something I would like to see her in and not worry about the price. The tight, thin, leather pants, the painted on top, the skinny short skirt etc.
It's a fun way to start the late afternoon before carrying it on into the night.
If she has a look she prefers we can also shop for me someplace and be the couple that we want to be.
The time together is more fun, the connection is great and the intimacy is much better when I've done it this way.

I have known FF awhile and have taken her on several shopping trips...anything from furniture, computer gadgetry (she insisted on my advice) to costumes and evening wear (again insisting on my impeccable fashion sense.  I have tongue firmly planted in cheek while I say this.)

The entertainment she provides while shopping is worth the price in and of itself.  She is not one to squander my resources just because the opportunity is there; in fact several times told me to save my cash because, as she said "nothing looks good on me today".  Of course I always disagree, but let her have her way.

With regarda to addiction, I dont consider her to be addicted, although I have watched her notably start to shake and drool a bit when we walk past a shop ... (telltale signs of withdrawal? oh tongue in cheek again.)  Actually,  I find it a pleasure to take her out.
