I would love a provider's take on the issue of Google Voice/Internet numbers vs a guy with a burner phone that is registered to a fake name and address.  I see so many ads these days that say, "I will block you or not take your call/text if is from a GV/Internet number", but then how do you distinguish between a "real" number and a burner number that is registered to a fake name and address?  Seems silly and unnecessary to put that limit on guys.  The guys you are trying to avoid are just as likely to get a burner phone (like noted above) as they are to use a GV/internet number.

There have been, of course, ladies who try to argue and suggest I am hiding something, as if people using burner phone aren't hiding anything. In fact it's much harder to  track down burners than subpoenaing Google should I do something really crazy and LE gets involved, hence they are so prevalent in the drug dealing, pimping circles.

I don't argue back. I never do. I  just move on to a smarter woman..

I've come across some providers who state that they don't even accept burner phones too. Those providers are usually the ones who require real info though which is tied to the client's phone #.

Not sure what kind of info ladies get based on phone number. However I see fewer ads that say things like "no pre-paid phones".

MVNOs (mobile virtual network operators) and very common now. I just switched a few months ago to Mint Mobile and am saving a ton of money. It's considered a prepaid phone since I pay for service up front so I'm sure I wouldn't pass muster if a lady said pre-paid phones were no good.

you may not get much of a response from providers because this is a more specific screening question but there are ways to tell the difference between a "real" number and a GV/VOIP number. It's just that some providers may not call you on it depending on how everything else shakes out.

Suffice to say, I would argue providers would want you to screen with your real phone number that's associated with real life you and then if you have a burner phone number use that for communications.

I know you can tell the difference between an app number and real number, but my point is I can go buy a pre-paid phone and register it to a fake name and address to make it look legit. I hate having to keep track of a second phone but a phone app is much easier.

The issue is not burner or google voice phone. The issue is providers who put all these NO this and NO that on their ads. I would pass. Most likely going to be a bad session even if you meet all their ridiculous stipulations..

there is a way to see if the phone# is an app/GV number versus burner.
Many ladies who ask for real world screening info will not accept a GV or burner # initially during the screening process.
After screened where the gent provided his real phone# (only for screening not for communication)then for communication he can use his app or burner#
That is the most common reason why it is mentioned in various ads

Dang Jaydalee, you sure are traveling a lot. That has to be exhausting.
Sorry, just a very frequent P411 viewer. Also a normal Vegas visitor 4-5 times a year except the past 18 months. Damn Covid.

Come on people get vaccinated so we can get back normal!

I am home in Vegas and have been home for a little over a week.
I love seeing new cities and returning to some of my favorite cities. I have racked up so many frequent flyer miles and upgrades it has worked out to be quite beneficial :)
Also meeting new gents and lot of my lovely old friends I haven't seen since their business has not taken them back to Vegas.
Thankful the conventions have been coming back especially the Concrete show and now defcon.
Hopeful Vegas will return with all of the visitors and conventions all the way by next year.

Huh, that's a new one on me.  I guess there's a convention for everything...and an excuse to go to Vegas.  The only use I have for concrete is to make concrete galoshes (or cement overshoes if you prefer).

In reply to those asking about touring on the Boston or NY boards, I would often include a link to the visitors and convention bureau schedules.  Big Conventions will take up a lot of hotel space and drive the rates up, so you might want to seek booking during a cheaper / discounted period. On the other hand, Big Conventions can also mean more horny conventioneers looking for a "session" between "sessions." Anyway, having the schedule and likely number of attendees can help a Provider plan her tours accordingly.
.
It's also important to check out the local sports and city celebration schedules. Playoff games will divert a lot of the locals' discretionary funds into eating out at the sports bars and gambling. AFTER the playoffs, the gambling winners will have more money to celebrate and recreate with.
.
But back to LV, there is also the International Roofing Expo and the International Pizza Expo coming up. Sounds like fun! http://www.vegasmeansbusiness.com/planning-tools/convention-calendar/

Just get the sideline app and you have a separate phone number on your main phone. It's 2021 you don't need a burner phone unless you're doing something illegal.

I would not deal with numbers that show up on my caller ID as UNKNOWN/PRIVATE  & ETC. Only because I do not know if its a cop or not.

Even if the number shows you have no idea if it's a cop or not.

The biggest problem I have found with these type of numbers is they are unreliable. I have had many gents set up an appointment and when they get to my place their phone does not work. I end up thinking they ncns and they think i ghosted. Then they go home and all the messages go through. It's very frustrating on both sides. Just like with everything you get what you pay for. Even with a fake number or a text app I get the person Info that I need without asking. Everything is always connected you just have to know how.

I have never had any issue with a burner phone with providers or the agency.  I never had anyone question   what kind of a phone it is.  I only do texting so am unsure if a name even shows up. My phone number is my identifier to the agency or provider.

I bought a TracPhone flip at Target for $50, and buy a one year contract for $99.  All in cash. There is no registration of user name or address or anything.  No credit card record.   Nothing that can be traced.  I only turn it on once a week for a day or so to make appointments.  Then turn it off.

I have been using the same phone for 4 years and hope it lasts for a long time.  I do not think I could transfer the number to a new phone.

Very cheap price to pay for the ultimate in security.
Best of luck.
Ed

That way I qualify for Obama phone.  Just search you Obama phone number. As long as you name does not popup you use it. It takes several years for you number to update.

Wow, that’s the incentive to keep low wages, huh? Food stamps and free phone service? That’s equivalent to what? $300 a month? To me that sounds more like just taking advantage of the system and being a burden on society in order to be lazy. Why not try to move that income up a half notch and maybe make an extra $500 a month so you can pocket $200 after paying for what you’re getting for free now? Then you’d have extra money for Grammarly and maybe a 30-minute session. But you keep doing you and see how long that will work for you.

Yeah, those numbers are probably just trying to sell you an extended auto warranty or warning you that this is the final call to fix the issue with your social security number.
