The inequality in the way the charges are handled should occur to somebody. Not so much that they should charge men, of course. Though I'm beginning to think that if men with money and power were consistently charged, prostitution will be legalized overnight.

Yes, well self defense, which I am quite capable of thank you, isn't very useful when the guy plows into you like a linebacker who just found out the quarterback just banged his sister.

Don't ever make the mistake of thinking it won't or can't happen to you.

I am so sorry that happened to you, that's just not right.  I guess it could happen yet I do believe in self defence awareness.  We as woman, here or not in this profession need to take care to protect ourselves, and here you are taking a bigger risk of an incident.
I hope to never have to handle a situation like that but if I had to I am most certain I could.  I feel confident in my ability because I have trained to defend myself. Any woman who is in this business should care about their safety enough to realize, it could happen, and it does as you well know.
You don't need to be a black belt, but a good self defense class is wise. When my sister and I were teens, my parents got us into martial arts and I loved it. I have had to defend myself as well b4, not in this profession but in the past. I am so grateful they made us take those classes, it saved my life.
Martial arts is not about power or strength it is about control. Self control and control of the situation. The one in control will win, the one not, will lose. Take control of the situation and you will not lose. In this business you are to be in control, its your game, by your rules, you must never lose control of the situation, that doesn't mean you need to be a bully just aware of your surroundings and who is in it.  Somewhere in any incident where one is harmed, by no fault of their own, they lost control of the situation, remember, there is always a ring master in life. It needs to be you.

It is all about transparency on this forum I thought.  There is seasoned and then there is charred.  

Now as far as your photos, in my opinion, you could leave a little to the imagination.  You give away all the goods.  The closeup hoonanny shots at the Motel 7 could potentially give a client the impression you are desperate in a truck stop kinda way.  

Hon, my ability to defend myself is way beyond anything that would be taught in a basic self defense class.
