I was wanting everyone's opinions on max dickhead getting convicted on obscenity.I consider myself pretty damn liberal, but i dont feel for the guy. i think what he does to these young girls is sick.he is taking advantage of girls with some serious psychological problems.i dont know what they get paid, but im sure its not enough to put up with what he does to them. am i just getting older? where does everyone stand.
Haven't seen his movies as I'm not strong on fetish stuff... Though everything I've found says that his models were of age acting younger roles. That's a far cry from taking advantage of helpless mentally I'll youth. Am I missing something?
i never said the girls were underage. he isnt that dumb. he made millions.why would he risk it all having someone that was underage. He was convicted for all the stuff he does to the girls in the videos. the question is, should he have been charged.i think the girls have serious mental problems that he takes advantage of. almost like hiring a mentally challenged person. my point was i really dont feel bad for him. i am kind of glad he was convicted. i dont know if im becoming prudish in my old age or not but i hope he rots there. although, i did say many years ago that he should quit while he was ahead.i would have sold the company and let someone else deal with it. when i read how much fines were for obscenity, it was obvious you can be wiped out with one conviction.
I would not watch a video of an actress acting like a 12 year old girl getting fisted and vomited on. But he has the right to portray that scene. It's in our constitution. I just would not watch it. I do not condone his behavior and portrayals but in my opinion he does have a case that his constitutional rights were violated. Just because people do not agree with his views and "art" does not mean the law is different for him. It is another example of laws manipulated for the supposed moral character of our society. Sad sad day when our rights are disregarded. There are so many comparable examples of art, music and film that can be compared to his extreme porn. Be careful because we will be next. That's why I keep all my hobby behavior under wraps.
Dude, it's called acting. Max hires women and pays them to act in his films. Any woman who works for any director owes it to herself to KNOW who she is working for and to discuss what will be expected. If you don't like his stuff (and I don't) that's fine but he isn't kidnapping women and forcing them to have a speculum shoved up into them. If a gal or two showed up at the shoot too wasted to fully grasp what she was doing until she saw the tape well...that's a shame but, as I said, it is up to the lady shooting to know what she is getting into.
A lot of women have made a LOT of money shooting with Max. So has Max for that matter but that's free enterprise in a democracy. Buy it or don't buy it. Prison for shooting porn? He got screwed.
Why is the dollar amount important to you? Any scene is a negotiation between the actor and the producer. If both sides agree to the fee that is all that matters. Where did you get the impression that $1500 was some sort of standard? Standard for what?
The way porn works is simple. The more you are willing to do the more you will get paid for a scene. How much more depends on the popularity of the performer in question and the budget of the producer involved.
