The patriotic songs stir a lot of feeling for me. I have a number of acquaintances who have given their lives for this country and to be quite honest as I think of them and listen to the songs, it is sometimes hard to hold back my emotions or tears.

I am thankful them and the freedoms they have helped preserve for this nation.

Adopt A US Soldier supporters (over 30,000 registered now) to
ask for your help.

We have had over 90 new soldiers register TODAY for adoption(on top of 15 yesterday and 18 the day
before).  This is not only the most we have ever had in one day, and it beats our old record of
about 50 in one day by quite a bit!  While this is wonderful that we get to find these fine, brave
men and women supporters, the problem is that we are EXTREMELY LOW on the number of new supporters
registering.  As a matter of fact, we had only 45 new members come aboard today. These newly
registered soldiers have either no, or very little support-just ONE person supporting them!  

If you have one soldier and would like another, if you have written consistently and have not
heard back from your soldier, if your soldier returned home, or if you have just given up, PLEASE help
us by asking for another soldier!!!!!!  There is not better time than RIGHT NOW!

If you are already supporting more than one soldier or just cannot adopt another, WE THANK YOU and
we do not expect you to ask for more unless you can.  WE DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO OVEREXTEND
THEMSELVES!


ALSO- advertising can be expensive, so we rely highly on word of mouth.  Please spread the word
any way you are able!  If your local paper is interested in writing a story about AAUSS, there is no
better time than the month of May (Memorial Day!)...PLUS, the month of MAY has been OFFICIALLY
recognized by Congress as Military Appreciation Month!

Please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] to request another soldier,
to ask questions, or to give newspaper information.  AND PLEASE BE PATIENT, AS WE ARE EXPECTING A
LARGE RESPONSE
