I hardly see that as " you chimed in to kick her to curb".
Since one's feelings are their feelings, I cannot tell her that she's silly to take that as such, and can only apologize that she took it that way. Maybe she should go back and read?
In the meantime, I was NOT attempting to put her down at all; hurt her feelings, 'kick her to the curb', or anything else, and I'm surprised that anyone who has any idea of the kind of person I am, would ever think that.
Once again, if there are any miscommunications or misunderstandings, please feel free to either PM me or email me. THAT has the UTMOST of importance to me than any post I make in any thread! And please convey that to her.
Now, people on these boards do get snippy, touchy, etc from time to time but certainly not nearly as much as they do on most of the local boards. Try visiting the SD boards once in a while to see what it's like to get 'ripped into an asshole', if you thought that one thread was anything to remark on - just visit there and you'll be blown away! And it's somewhat better now, now that a few of us have spoken up about how cruel it can be there. Just do any search, particularly on visiting providers, prior to a month or so ago and see how cruel they can get! And, you're right about THAT. It IS unacceptable. It IS wrong, and it SHOULDN'T be tolerated, but what occurred in the thread you're talking about, is not quite the case at all.
I'm sure your lady friend is lovely, and provides a good service and etc., but that wasn't the point. She mentioned that she was going out of town to see family for the Holidays and wondering how to get out for some appts. Frankly, I think most people all had the same thought, but not all are as congenial in conveying that thought.
I invite you to look at the thread yourself, and see my post and then let me know if you still think it could whatsoever be considered 'kicking her to the curb'.
In the meantime, most people contribute on both their local board AND on the National Board, and I was missing some of the ladies who did post on both(such as Chrissy).
I think the Phoenix board, when I have peeked in from time to time, is so far one of the most applaudable Boards on here. The support, the comeraderie, and the 'love' is very visable and you all deserve recognition for that great sense of community you maintain. I used the PHX board as an example of such in a post I posted on the SD board about 'how it is done - right'.
