I had one time where I did not use protection with provider but now I use them religiously. We use protection to prevent STD's and what not. But why do most guys get BJ without condom but use condom when we have sex. Maybe because there is greater chance of getting STD from vaginal sex? Can't you also get STD from getting BJ?

So fine, you really don't know that a blowjob feels 9000% better when there is not a layer of some kind of plastic squeezing the life out of your dick. You really don't know that the chances of transmitting the deadliest of stds through uncovered oral is almost nil. You really don't know that there are a lot of players out there having uncovered intercourse, even though the risk of transmitting a deadly disease is high - because it fucking feels good.

Diseases like gonorrhea, chlamydia, and herpes can be transmitted through practically any sexual contact. Hobbyists who pursue uncovered activities other than intercourse are either aware of the risks and don't care due to 1) no SO 2) willingness to deal with the stds and/or the treatments or 3) stupidity.
Those who pursue uncovered intercourse probably believe that 1) they are invincible or 2) the risks are overstated or 3) the pleasure is worth the risk or 4) they just don't give a fuck.

I read the surge general said it is not as likely to catch an STD by oral sex.  But, gee, I bet it has happened.

Don't wait until you get home but as soon as you cum.  Ask your provider for some anti-bacterial soap, she will more than likely have some.  If she doesn't have some, then wash your dick with the soap available.  Then wash again with anti-bacterial soap as soon as you can.  It probably would be a good idea to again as soon as you can.  

This advice came from a doctor in my karate class who did STD education in the Navy.  

As with any advice regarding STD prevention, this is still not foolproof.
