gentlemen: do you prefer a provider's incall to be at her own apartment or house or at a hotel or does it matter to you? if it is at a hotel do you have a certain expectation of the type of hotel (middle of the road or upscale)?

If it's a hotel it does have to be fancy. The in call must be clean and in an area that I'm comfortable visiting .
Because you don't know how many guys she's seeing a day and, at an apt., it's more likely to draw unwanted attention.
If it's a hotel, I'm fine with a middle of the road place unless she's charging $500/hr. or more. In which case I expect deluxe.
for a $500/hr or 90 min provider, don't schedule in the middle of the day or she's spending all her money on two nights of valet and two nights at the hotel. And food. So she's lost money. Think beyond the $500/hr and hotel and look into all the expenses, INCLUDING clothing, make up, make overs, hair cuts, extensions, eyelashes, botox, lipo, gym memberships, condoms, lube, sex toys, lingerie, all the shit that makes her high end.
I don't think you're looking at the whole picture, Courtney. Luxury hotels can be had for cheap if you know where and how to look. I've seen gals at places like The Cosmo in Vegas and The Palace in Manhattan, both very upscale hotels. The gals I saw there were top shelf and very experienced. I guarantee you they were not losing any money.
I agree, here. I'm at quite a bit less than 500/hr but my incall is always 3-star or above, typically 4-star. Priceline and Orbitz are my best friends, to the point that I can pay for two nights and still profit from one booking. So, I don't really think there's any excuse for a motel or Holiday Inn type environment. And there's ways around paying for more than one night if you really don't want/need to.
Also, you don't have to take the room for an entire day. There are sites like this one that connect you to good hotels where you can find rooms for the day only. The ones listed in this article don't happen to be 4-star, but those are also easy to find.

went to see a lady in an apt bldg, had her apt # and "stage name," but there was a guard at the front desk, asking me what was the (real) name of the person i was supposed to see? because the lady had failed to leave word at the front desk to let me up.
luckily the lady called just in time, beause i had no clue what her real name was.

the key is to be discrete. It can be hard as a client to know how many clients are being seen a day, which isn't really my business, however it does comes into play at a home or apartment. The hotel expectation is somewhat driven by the donation. The higher the donation than I expect a nice place.
My most fav is the big busy business hotel, than the large anonymous apartment complexes where nobody knows their neighbors, followed by a home. I'm concerned about nosey neighbors with houses. And Sheriff Joe has been know to follow up on complaints from neighbors about suspicious traffic to homes.
Key point SAFE and FUN Indoor hosting.
And make sure your clients are low volume too! Don't want the neighbors catching on because of those thin walls!
but if you are in an apt, clean it up! including the tub! nothing's more disgusting than showering in a tub with black crud on the bottom!
if you are in a hotel, put your goddam clothes away! make it presentable! don't look like you're living out of suitcase! even tho you are, but hey, that's the job! look fantastic, environment included! i'm beyond the days of getting it on in a messy dorm room...
Your own apartment is one hell of a bad idea. Homes are k as long as the home is in the middle of 2 acre wooded and secluded lot. If you are in a sub division you are asking for trouble and wouldn't touch it.
Have seen them in their own apt's, houses, incall apts, hotels.... If she is discrete, it really doesn't matter. I will say this, if I'm paying premium prices, I would expect a premium environment.

I have provided out of private homes, apartments, condo's & hotels. As long as your not in the hood, or a sleezy cheap ass hotel that costs $40 you should be ok.
If your a well reviewed provider getting deposits is not hard, but do not plan on working everyday. Priceline always works well on a budget & for quick booking.
Unless it's the Andy Gump or a piece of cardboard in the back alley. That might be an issue.
Mid range or five star, I don't really care. I get nervous about her house or apartment. Too much activity could draw interest from neighbors and, subsequently, LE.
acceptable area. The one thing that needs to be avoided is a hotel with exterior corridors which can be watched from the parking lot; too LE friendly.
If it is a hotel, I ask the provider for an overview of the lobby so I can go directly to the elevator while looking like I belong and not a lost monger.
The apartment is a dedicated location, used only for incall. A couple of my regular go-to providers maintain a small studio (sometimes in partnership with one or two other girls), just for work purposes. That's ok by me, since the place can be decorated in a more suggestive or lovenest-y sort of way.
When providers entertain in their "real life" living quarters, they just can't avoid the "somebody actually lives here" feeling. There are odors that just can't be avoided, the hobbyist has to be more aware of doing something that might be perceived as "invading personal space", blah blah…
I don't want to spend time in a girl's real life living quarters. It's a buzzkill to the fantasy element of the hobby experience, and makes me feel like I'm "involved" with the girl in a manner that makes me feel uncomfortable.
But that's just me. What do I know?
