While watching the VH1 fashion awards this evening, I had the question in my mind of why we don't see more emaciated, 6'0" tall runway types as escorts. The Vogue style model is considered chic, sensual and deeply mysterious because of her European features, high cheekbones, boyish figure, sometimes short mod hair and . However, in the sex industry from adult video to pinup girls, we tend to see more breasts, hips and well, blondes.

I'd be interested in hearing what some of you think. Have any of you gents stumbled upon a high fashion type and if so, did you book her? Do any of you seek the magazine style model out?

Are any repulsed by the waifs? Do any find these types asexual or unappealing.

I find all women beautiful. I think it's sorta sad how went tend to base our summations on appearances because it in no way indicates deeper things like chemistry, vitality, security from within and personality but I do understand that men and women need to be stimulated visually in order to feel attraction. Why are some men attracted to tall slendar ladies...and still others are creaming over full figured busty girls? Why is your fantasy what it is? Have you ever analyzed it??

what I feel at the moment.  I was lucky in the old days of Yellow Page escort services that I have met some truely stunning beauties.  I have missed a couple amazingly beautiful escorts because they were my friends' girlfriends at the time.  They were top rated strippers in SF that moonlighted as escorts.

Upon my return back to this hobby, I have a few opportunities to meet model like ladies.  Couple of times I have seen printed ad model types that are slender, regal, small T&A.  Other times I have seen petite, busty, slutty ladies.  I have seen college students, single moms, housewives, strippers and porn starlet.  My experience has ranged from almost all out PSE to just a simple talk.  As long as the lady is happy and I am having a good time, it really doesn’t matter.

My taste of women is like my taste in movies.  The most important part is that I have to find something interesting about the movie or the lady.

The movies could be :

* Chick’s flicks like “Bridget Jones’s Diary”,   --- girl next door, warm and comforting, college beauty queen, or sorority girls.
* Quirky independents like “Secretary” or “Being John Malkovich”,   --- same type as the female leads.  Proper looking ladies with fire in the bellies.
* High brow independents like “Your Friends & Neighbors”,    --- slender runway model type, skinny, A or B- cup.
* Main stream independents like “Gosford Park”,    --- classy late 20s or mid 30s ladies
* Small independents like “State and Main”,  --- funny and sunny.
* Foreign independents like “Run Lola Run”,    --- Russian (ladies with a hard edge)  (The movie is German)

The choice of types of movies or ladies I want to see depends on my mode and previous encounters.  I am done lots of self analysis on this and other matters.  Finally reach the conclusion that too much thinking is bad for sex and my own well being.  One major shortcomings I have is that at times, I am too critical on how a lady looked even while I was enjoying her company.  I guess members that have read my past posts knew that already.

I never thought of seeking out a high-fashion type or waif. I just don't think I would be able to relate mentally. Also, they are not a turn-on. I prefer somone who looks more "real", like you judging from your pics.

From my own experience living in Brazil, and from my reading of the literature, I have come to these conclusions about the nature of sexual attraction, specifically why men look for a certain "look" in a woman.  First, there is research that shows that regardles of culture, babies and toddlers prefer to look at what is called a "symmetrical" face.  That is simply one where the spacing and sizes of the parts are as regular, even, as balanced as possible.  Of course that concept is, in itself somewhat subjective, but it has an objective, measurable component.  If one eye is higher than the other, even slighly, the overall look is not purely symmetrical. Call it what you want, I think that is a simple measure of beauty in a face, and it applies to my own measure of facial beauty.  Now for the rest, the size and shape of a woman's body.  This is purely driven by cultural conditioning.  If you are born in Italy or Brazil, and you are male, by the time you are 13 you will be fantasizing about women with huge perfectly shaped butts and very small breasts.  It is what you have been trained to think is desirable and it really does turn you on.  Likewise, for an American boy, by the time he is 13 he will be fantasizing about women with slim hips and huge breasts, because of the culture, the media.  This has changed over time.  For example in the 20's, women were most desirable if they were very thin and flat chested.  In the 1890's women were supposed to be very voluptuous, even portly. As for fashion models, that is a simple one.  Clothes and cameras make everyone look fatter, so naturally you want tall, skinny models for your ads.  If they have some nice (but not too big) tits as well, at least these days, that seems to be the optimum.  Fashion is its own world, and not necessarily tied to erotic images as strictly as say, porn is.

Luckily, the brain is the biggest sex organ, and we can manufacture all the fantasy we want at will.  When I am with the right woman, always a regular partner, a significant other, as they say here, she "becomes", in my mind, all the images of sexual attraction that I summon from my mind.  Easier to do if she really does have a lot of the physical traits that turn me on.  To do this both parties need an imagination, an open mind, and some degree of trust between them.  That last part is what I believe is the elusive GFE component that providers can't always deliver, and I don't blame them for that.  It must be extremely difficult to do on demand, with whoever asks for it.  

I have been with every body type from anorexic waif to BBW, and everything in between. I think that when I meet a girl the chemistry is between my ears more than anywhere else, and something in the way she carries herself, talks, and makes eye contact will stir me more than any particular body type or look.  This does not mean that I don't appreciate beautiful women like you, Heather. It just means that there's alot more to it for me.  I have 2 ATF fantasy girls.  One is a  borderline BBW and the other is 5ft4in, 100#, 34A-22-33.

It's my opinion that the women that we idolize most for their beauty are actually the ones with little to no character (define that as "flaws") in their faces. Think of some of those famous actresses and models and imagine what you truly remember about their faces....still waiting. When I think back on the women I've loved, I always can imagine a certain quirk that reminds me of them, the way her nose crinkles, her eyes being slightly crossed, her ears being uneven or large and more obvious when her hairs is pulled back...The quirks are the stuff of real life. The blank canvas that we imagine as beauty (and yes I also am drawn in sometimes by it all) is actually the plainest of us in the most literal sense.

I have not had the pleasure of bedding down with a "waif" or high-fashion model type, but the thought really doesn't appeal to me.  That said, there is so much more to a woman than her looks -- her smell, taste, touch, attitude, etc.   But, purely based on the visual aspect, waifs don't do it for me.

As far as fantasies go, I don't really have anything too out there -- although I have to admit I found intriguing the character of Isis (http://www.sherylfranklin.com/trekwomen_isis.html ) on an episode of the original Star Trek series.  She was usually a cat, but also had human form.  Meow!!

When I was an undergraduate, I modelled to make some walking around money.  I was one of the few straight male models in Manhattan.  I dated several runway models.  Without exception, they were nothing but trouble.  For one thing, they were very unstable and insecure, and therefore made easy targets for predators...both male AND female.  The industry does that to girls.  Almost every model I encountered had deep-seated problems.  Many were drug and alcohol abusers.  Aside from the mental component, most weren't all that hot when they stripped.  Sure, they've got gorgeous faces and long legs, but they tended to be emaciated.  A lot of sexual hang-ups too.  Many were involved in self-destructive relationships, it seemed.  Most models are much happier and much prettier (and sexier) when their modelling days are over, and they can eat and live normally.

If we're just talking looks, I really don't like the waif look.  They just don't look healthy.  They look like the'll collapse at any moment.  This is part of why I don't watch shows like the fashon awards: just not interested in that look.

Now if these models put on ~20 lbs, then they'd actually look like a real woman and would then be hot.

is waif-like over baby fat. However, my preference is someone who is just thin and well proportioned. Not overly fond of what you label the boyish figure on some women, but absolutely repulsed of any sort of flab. Women in hiphuggers with a gut can make me gag. Equally offended by guys who think their huge belly look best without a shirt. I don't have and not particularly fond of 6 pack abs, just a firm flat stomach.

Not really into fantasies, so not very much to analyze. Never really into the model look, just someone who is relatively attractive and thin. Prefer the looks of someone like Jodie Foster over Cindy Crawford. Never been into the Marilyn Monroe type. My long term love, after 30 years and two kids, is only 5 lbs. more than when I first met her. I don't think we would divorce if one of us gained alot of weight; although, it probably would severely impact her or my desire to have sex (of which that could ultimately lead to divorce). We are fairly fortunate that we are able to maintain by watching what we eat and exercising moderately. I guess we are both lucky and have good genes. We are not obsessive about working out or dieting, just do it on a regular basis. Perhaps I am somewhat shallow, but I would never think of seeing an hourly lady more than once if I could pinch more than an inch.

Before I went into my current profession I worked in the fashion world for a spell. I wasn't a male model mind you, but did know quite a few female models who I came into conact with every day due to my job.

I don't think that they are all drug addicted ciggarette smoking anorexic/bullemic bimbos at all. Sure, there are some who have problems (But gee, I've met a few escorts with problems as well)but there were also some absolutely strikingly beautiful women who were smart and concerned about their health and bodies and I knew one or two (before they were big) who did rise to the top.

I have to say that I've thought about the question that Heather has posed here many times....

Now, maybe I am forgetting a few (and forgive me ladies) but I think I can seriously name the 5'9 plus slender girls in this escort biz who have the body AND face of a top model on one hand!
(and we're talking the look, cheekbones, skinny body, face etc.)

Now don't get me wrong, there are a lot of gals with pretty faces and a few who are tall and slender but ones who have all the qualities who could tell you that they are a model in NY etc etc. ... those are few and far between in this biz.

I wonder why that is?

Why aren't there more models/retiring fashion models who do escorting? Do they just not advertise?

I would select bikini models or fitness models (with a tasteful set of implants)as the most desirable. A few models (Tyra Banks - schwing) do it for me but the standard 5'11" 110 lbs. ones with no boobs don't do anything. Plus most of them smoke and abuse drugs/alcohol.

As far as analysing tastes, why bother? Trying to rationalize/justify why I like hot chicks is a waste of time. 'Inner beauty' is for relationship. Looks are for fantasy fun and games.

Sorry just had to show a little sarcasm there. Again, I worked in the fashion industry for some time and believe it or not -there are models, escorts AND even porn stars who do not smoke.

My favorite type of woman is a tall model type who is healthy and doesn't smoke.....and yes they do exist.
