I wonder how many misandrists there are in the provider profession? I doubt any of them would admit that for obvious reasons. I would guess that it would be fewer than the client group of misogynists.
Maybe this is just a stupid question LOL

I certainly don't doubt they exist.
But you can't expect someone to publicly admit they despise their customer base.

...considering that not every client will be a gentleman. I've had some soul searching chats with a few providers and lots of strippers, and they tend to let their hair down when they are with me and vent abit. Plenty genuinely like men, but some definitely don't, especially the ones that come into the business all bright eyed and bushy tailed and go on to discover the ugly side of some patrons.
Ironically, some of the most tolerant and contented sex workers are lesbian. They claim that since they never have any sexual interest in men, they can disengage easier and not really care about them one way or another which can make the work easier. I was genuinely surprised when I first heard a gay dancer tell me that.

balance out those who don't, but I would certainly understand how The Profession could make a lady cynical. TER should provide grants for ladies who need a sabbatical once in a while!

That makes sense, but I always thought lesbians would be "repulsed" even at the thought of having sex with men? Guess I was wrong (again)
I don't always think of lesbians as mysandrists. They just are not sexually attracted to men, but I guess that all the guys offering to "change" them makes them dislike men. Never mind...

There are plenty of straight women who dislike, even hate men. I am sure there is a good percentage of gay women who like men but are just not attracted to them sexually.

Lesbians, at least the ones I have spoken to and that is not a huge demographic, most have slept with men even though they were not attracted (some might have been but still, something was not quite right)...you know to make sure they were actually gay.

Lube is your friend. How do you think hookers who have zero attraction to a john get through an appointment...lube. Women can go through the act of sex and not like it. And I am sure if the john gives good head she can go to her fantasies and make believe some smoking hot chick is down there and enjoy it quite well.

There are even some lesbians who are so put-off by the idea that they have never actually had sex with a man; ever. These are the ‘gold star’ lesbians....lol..

They’re a minority. Most people who identify as LGBTQ, queer, gay, lesbian…pick your label….have had sex with someone of the opposite sex, at least once. And, some of us really gave it the Ol’ college try before acknowledging that something was just_not_right.

And, yes, there are (still…) men that continue to believe that lesbians are really straight women who haven’t had sex with the right man. But, they seem to be dying off. And, while I certainly have heard that silliness, and can’t even remember how many men have been idiotic enough to say that to me over the years, that never triggered any revulsion of men. I quite like men---as long as they’re not total pricks. Then again, I have the same standard for women.

This is your lesbian 101 lesson for the day :)

Women working in the sex industry are simply exposed to more of the negative on a day to day, over time.  So, yeah….I suspect the probability of cynicism is high.  But that’s not about sexual orientation.

Well I certainly can't speak for every lesbian out there, but I for one really enjoy the company of men. We share the same mentality, and also share the same hunted prey :) They are my buddies, and taking out the sexual aspect really lets us both let out a long sigh of relief, and enables us to get back to the more important topic at hand - talking about women!!

WADR,  I would shift the onus on the other party.  While I agree escorts have to TRY to be good actresses for their job it is mainly the delusion of the hobbyist (The review section  of TER is littered with examples of this) that makes them believable.

Easy enough to move on to someone else though :)

being sadistic is one thing; it implies consent from the other party and inflicting consensual pain has very little or nothing to do with hating men. In fact, if i truly hated men, i wouldn't even cater to their desire or need for pain.

Being known as an unsafe boundary-pusher or as a woman who truly hates her clientele doesn't get one too far in any line of work, let alone BDSM.
