I am not sure what is going on with TER or what has been going on since Thursday, but this is almost comical.

I can get on right now, but if I want to read anything I only have a limited time to read it or the page will time out.

Or I will get an error message saying there are no messages on this page.

TER is The Erratic Review

As I had told Hardwood on our board the site
just had a bit too much wine and birthday cake
this month. It deserves to be a little erratic  all these years.

Can access it for 30 seconds, then it's gone, then the page can't be found and after 35 page refreshes I can get to a board yet it says there are no messages posted on the board.  And chat, HAHAHAHA, IF you can get into chat, there is no text box but a name list and color option, or there is a text box but no name list or color option, oh and then it randomly all goes off line again.

So aggravated with this site.  I have stopped bothering to refresh or trying to PM, or read boards because it's absolutely impossible.  Glad my VIP expired because I'd sure hate to be paying for something that doesn't work.  Maybe when it's working again I will re new.

Secret sources tell me that there are some software updates being done and that's what's causing some problems as the guru's try to get the new stuff installed.

Last few days it has been hit or miss as to whether the response time is sufficient to use the site.  If not, I just go do other things and come back later.

OMG There is no yellow envelope next to yalls names.

Thank the Lord I have other places to play!

i will be glad if 1. this message actually posts the first time i hit enter and 2. when the server gets off its drunken ass, takes some advil and shakes off the hangover.

Yes, it has been hit and miss for the last several days.  I've even had the little red "x" by the pics on the home page.  Sure hope the system still has the review I wrote this morning.

Chill out, everybody. You have to know that TER is doing everything possible to fix this problem. In the meantime, take a walk, read a book, see a provider. It'll all be OK, I promise.

As soon as TER Support hunts down and kills the Gremlins, it'll be back to normal. LOL

Internet explorer won't let me sign in at all and seems like the screen will sit forever.

I really like TER and hope its not being taken down anytime soon.  Has anyone heard anything about this???  I'm starting to get a little worried!!

I don't even know how I'm typing this post.

They have been talking for months about some major upgrades to the site, and it's possible that they are in that process now. It's also possible that somebody in the Netherlands just plain fucked up, and it needs to be fixed.

You see, the Mods went on strike demanding that TER triple what they are paying us.

Little Phil and I are doing a Cheech and Chong act in the back room, getting stoned and waiting for a couple of Providers to show up to give us some motivation;

DocGonzo jumped on his Trike and headed off to the TER Castle in Amsterdam on a Diplomatic Mission to resolve the crisis (don't tell him that there is no bridge, we want it to be a surprise) and he packed BoneBoyBob and Puck in his saddle bags as extra brains and muscle (I'll let you decide who is which) to help him convince the oppressors that Liberalism really is the true path to enlightenment and that the Power truly does lie within the People.

BeatPoet is trying to convince all of us to adopt a more Zen like nature so that everything really Will be alright.

Funtimes and DVNYC are recruiting militant hobbyists and providers to man the ramparts and repel the borders in case there is a counterattack.

RCProNO1 is trying to impose order on chaos by telling everyone to just chill the fuck out and get back to work as he tries to rewrite the code so that we can actually take over the site (Little Phil and I are too fucking stoned to help him other than to say "Right on Brother.")

FastEddie started looking at porn a week ago, and hasn't been heard from since.

YellowFever has buried himself into the law books looking for the perfect argument and preparing for the inevitable legal mess to come from this.

And the Love Goddess has pretty much diagnosed all of us Mods as misguided miscreants who just need to be loved (commercially, that is).

Anarchy is the rule of the day.

You people will just have to wait until we get what we need and that's that.

We all have had computer problems at one time or another, however when this first started it would have been nice if board admin. posted that there is a problem and told us (to the best of their knowledge) what to expect. (I cannot say for sure but I would think that admin could put the message on all boards with just a few keystrokes)

That, in my opinion would avoid all the ...."is it me or does TER have a problem" or "what is going on" or "this is a pain" or "does anyone else have this problem" etc. ...posts.

also since this is taking some time to resolve perhaps a brief, easy to understand daily up date, from board admin (it would not take but a few min from their busy schedule), would help ease the flurry of "is there still a problem" posts on  all the national and local boards and relieve all the mods. from all the grief of having to try to answer and explain.

and here's why:

there are gents who only use TER as a source of doing their research on a lady. Never thinking she may have a presence on their smaller regional sites, and hey she might have a locals discount! Or they could find out she has bombed horribly and the reviews there are much different than the reviews here.

as for the ladies, I for one am being forced to actually log on to the site to check for email, and I have to log on via my server vs my phone. This is also helping me to clamp down on screening even more.

Yeah, I don't enjoy paying for things I can barely use.  How about using something other than windows and asp for the site?  It's funny because even when this site isn't all broken the way it is right now, there's still always intermittent issues loading pages and it's very annoying, especially since this is the only site I pay for.

It is time for all of us to head back to the nether regions.
