I have a so so website which I find tells a good story about who I am and what you will find when we meet. I also have a very active blog on my site which I enjoy posting on every few days. Many totally miss my blog until I mention it in an e-mail contact. Once they find out and read it their hooked and come back to read more.

Ladies do you have a blog and do you find it to be a good way for your friends to get to know you?

Gentlemen do you check out a blog if the lady has it noted on her website ? Do you think a blog is helpful to get to know a lady and is this something that would bring you back for more ?

has a blog. It helped with our initial meeting by providing some expanded information about her and her services; since then, she puts info about her travel plans, weekend appointments, etc on the blog. So it's pretty helpful when used in that aspect.

I usually blog on escortblogs  or blogspot.  I also network on facebook and twitter.

When I go to a website, I read the "about me", check the pics, rates, and how to contact.  I'm not into reading someones diary, or a page full of opinions, or views of the world, as she sees it!  There are lots of people who like them, and that's fine.  I don't get any sense of knowing someone better from their blog.

But then again...That's just me! ;-)

There's one provider I really like who has a fantastic blog filled with all sorts of very insightful thought. I check it at least a couple of times a week. Controversial, interesting and thought provoking stuff.

I read her blog and say to myself (even though I disagree with her on some stuff): "I have GOT to see this woman." But for every guy who reacts like me, there is probably some other guy out there who reacts negatively.

That's why MOST provider blogs are a drag.

Providers are in business, and they don't want to unnecessarily alienate the next guy who might otherwise plop down $3k for an overnight.

As a result, most of the information is limited to schedule and other fairly uninteresting stuff. Anything sufficiently interesting that it will drag in one guy will necessarily send another one off screaming.

I've had a blog for years, but I've been kind of on and off again about keeping it.  Still, there are quite a number of posts.  Mine isn't a practical update of my schedule, though I think that's a great idea.  It's mostly stories about sessions I've had (all fictional, of course!), along with occasional rants, links, and personal updates.  I do it mostly for myself, and have debated how much to reveal, but on the whole I think it's benefited me and my clients.  Most of my readers, I think, are just people who like my stories.

(I can't seem to remember if I'm allowed to post a link to it, but I'm gonna try.)

I used to keep a blog, and loved it!

I kept a blog for about 4 months. I updated it all the time with my thoughts, schedule, interests, pictures, expectations, erotica stories, etc. It was a lot of fun to have at the time. The thing I most enjoyed about it was that gentlemen would reference my blog when meeting for the first time. I had a gentleman bring me books based on the genre I stated I liked on my blog. He, as well as many others paid attention to the simplest things about me.

Also, keeping a blog such as Wordpress is helpful in terms of Search Engine Optimization. Gentlemen search all sorts of combinations of words (e.g. “Minneapolis escort”), but not all escorts have those combinations listed as the keywords on their actual website. Using your blog to rank you high in the search is smart if you want to be that high profile. When you blog about all sort of things, you create many keyword combinations that would normally not be on your website. So, if a gentleman searches “Blonde busty toy-loving free-flowing hot escort…[insert any words that might be on your blog]” they may find you before others based on the words on your blog. Again, maybe you do not have those keywords listed on your actual website, but having them listed in several posts on your blog gives you an advantage in the search. I hope that makes sense. Remember, keeping a blog is not for the weak at heart, as it may rank you high in the search and if you do not want to be high profile, well you may be shit out of luck!

Personally, I found that many men enjoyed my blog. I started keeping mine after I was an escort for only a few months. I got hundreds of hits a day on my blog as a still-newbie-escort. It worked! I found it exceptionally helpful when meeting new friends for multi-hour dates. I felt they already knew so much about me!

Anyway, I stopped keeping my blog, because *I* ended up making it too much like work for me. Plus, it sounded too much like *me* and I was certain family and friends would be able to identify me based on the stories I publically shared via my blog.

Keep it simple and fun, and you will enjoy it, as will many of your old and new friends.

Xoxo,
Gia:)

things to help others get to know my sensual side..I may post something about my day to day stroking of my pussy but most of the time it's what I think about while I stroke her.

Why not take a peek and see you have nothing too lose but a few minutes. I agree some ladies are not too into their blogs but I have a lot of fun with mine...Take a gander at Haley's "what I think about when I touch myself" ;-)

If you want to attract attention and traffic to your blog, be provocative and entertaining. When I say "provocative" I don't mean snarky, insulting and angry. Instead, post about unexpected topics or try to find a new twist on a topic that you haven't seen elsewhere. You're competing against a lot of other blogs on the Internet, and people have limited time. If you want them to return to your blog again and again, the funnier and more controversial you are, the more likely they are to return.

Here's an example of what I mean (and I don't know this provider from squat and have never seen her or know anyone who has). She writes blog entry headers like this:

"Why I Suck Dick Like A Porn Star!!!!"

and my absolute favorite:

"Guidelines for Anyone Thinking About Shoving Anything Up Anyone Else’s Butt in a Safe and Pleasurable Manner"

Here's the first paragraph (it's too good not to quote):

"Oh come on! Can you really be that stupid to think that you can “sneak” something up a ladies ass? Of course, she was obviously just as clueless about it as you if you were “sobbing yourself to sleep” after she tried her vibrator on you."

Her blog link is below.

how she would interact with me.  better is an e-mail exchange, a PM exchange, a chat room exchange or - as some may have noted with some of my comings and goings... the exchanges on TER general discussion group what with all the flirting and such....

That really does tell me something of a lady's personality and her willingness to be silly with me... but that is JUST ME>... that is not everyone.

So I would say to you (and we've met in person) if you enjoy it, I would do it as some do like to read them... AND It cannot harm you.  I have NEVER heard or ever thought myself, I would not see that person because of their blog....  just not something that would keep me from seeing someone.  However, recently I did meet someone who I instantly, because of the dialogue between us, thought Jee, I would never see her.  I suspect she thinks the same of me... the chemistry was REALLY not there.  and to tell you the truth, this was someone who I looked at her website, pictures and whatnot and had decided that I might like to meet.... but as I say, the chem was  just not there... alas it was not  meant to be.

I use every tool available to determine if I'd enjoy meeting a lady.  If a lady blogs, and uses it to blow off steam, it's very possible that I'd interpret that as bitchy and move to the next provider on my list.

To be fair, I like feisty women, but it's a fine line in my head between feisty and bitchy.  Given that providers often play a character to promote business, the more opportunity to get to know the real lady may not be in her best interest, unless she really is that sweet, lovable, cum guzzling cutie 7/24.

Blogs are a great marketing tool if used correctly. It is best not to be a bitch on them, or on the boards for that matter! LOL...but some of us let things get the best of us!;) It is probably best not to rant on them, as some do. Just make them fun for all and you can't lose!:)

Not to mention humble.  Hung like a horse too.

Oh, and just a tiny bit delusional. :)

Haley,

Your blog is nice and neatly designed.
I enjoy wordpress and blogspot.I do not
blog but I  have and I was uncomfortable with
the board and the vibes that came with it
but I do post an occasional topic on my site.
Do I feel blogs will help you meet men?
Sure if you like meeting men who like to
take part in every aspect of your private life.

I have not heard of the site you have used
but it looks good.I don't favor one blog board simply because it does seem to be in controll of the writers when it encourages ladies to say whats on their minds it also dictates what is to be said by some and does enjoy cat fights.
Seems to be more of a group of people who
project alot of negativity to those outside
of its realm.Men do not want to meet women
who constantly blog and use the blog to bitch online.

I have always felt that too much blogging can hurt a provider. Most men I have met aren't interested  in public broadcasts.Because I am a very private person to me, blogging is not good for business unless someone wants everyone to read portions of their life history and daily diary.

I feel my job as a provider is to allow the man to talk about his needs to me should he so desire.
I guess I am just not into the diary, and everything that follows it . I feel that blogs
can hurt you or help you but for me...I do fine without them .

Angela

PS: Many men have sought me out long before blogs were thought of and honestly, depending on the type of board it is , I think having your own board is much better than posting on a board which will save and do what they want with your narrations.
