: TER General Board Discussion : Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving they say. Do people actually give thanks on that day or do they pretend to. I guess when you're sitting there with a bunch of other people be family or whoever, you are supposed to follow and do what others do or tell you to do.
Why eat a turkey and why is it called a turkey? Why is there a country called Turkey? Here is a video which kinds of makes sense of it:

So a bunch of people will get together regardless of being told not to and spread this virus.
Why do Presidents pardon turkeys? They pardon one but kill another one. What happens to the pardoned one? Is set free?
Whatever. I don't celebrate and I eat anything but turkey... well, somebody will offer me some and I'll eat it. But I rather eat turkey any other day but the day I'm being told to do it. I don't like that.
