I know that "both" is the best answer, but that's not always possible, so do we have BCD time  before or after dinner?

Pros for before:  

You are sober and not weighed down by food in the belly or alcohol on the brain.

You can later eat and drink without any concern for how much of either you can have (If driving isn't a factor, of course.)

Cons:

You have to keep a careful eye on the clock if you have a dinner reservation.

You aren't going to be getting any extra time.

You just can't curl up and go off to sleep like some of us like to do after a good meal and romp in bed.

time allows for plenty of sensual build-up, flirting, etc. with an exempliary could conclusion, assuming you chose your date well. The one thing you must remember is to eat moderately and do not over indulge in alcohol.

I love the buildup that happens during dinner: the flirting, the banter, the delicious food... All the while knowing I'll have him in my mouth soon! Yum!

I don't eat anything about 4 to 6 hours before I see my Provider. Nothing worse than going to the restroom during a Session. I've learned my lesson about this a long time ago. After we're done, I take her to Dinner and a little shopping if she needs anything for her house. Drive her home and tell her I'm seeing her sometime in the next week.

With a first-time client, I like BCD before dinner.  The dinner conversation is more relaxed and intimate. W/repeat clients, that doesn't matter as much.  

It has always been to my advantage to go with her preference.

I like a good throatfuck and don't want to see her dinner a second time.  

I have had great times both ways, before or after. I guess on a couple occasions it was also before and after. Depends upon the time available, reservations, etc.. I prefer BCD after the dinner, though. Seems like we have more time to talk and relax over dinner and then dessert is better. My fave provider doesn't clock dinner dates that tightly, so we simply spend the time we both prefer. Sometimes more, sometimes less. It just feels more natural. And I prefer natural and unscripted over tightly controlled..

They are amazing whether or not you are horny.  All things being equal, play time first is my preference.  There's nothing quite so uncomfortable as trying to enjoy dessert feeling like a stuffed pig.  With play time first, you can feel comfortable ordering anything you want.  

That is my favorite plan . Work up a nice appetite but while dining don't order large portions and don't order something heavy. After dinner you can have dessert in room  or take it out with you to have that
last and much needed energy over coffee or a light white zin that compliments desert.

I only do this with my ATF, and our evening always also includes a show or performance before we end  BCD. Hours of mental gymnastics and intense flirting never fail to put us in a state where clothes are hitting the floor as soon as the door closes. Those are our most intense and passionate encounters.

food for quite some time before sex. I usually schedule my appts around noon. I don't eat breakfast so the last time I ate was 14 hrs or so ago. I occasionally have to vary that routine, as I did yesterday. I had a 5pm appt and had a very light lunch at 11am.

I like to enjoy a nice dinner,great wine and conversation followed by time  to freshen up at the room before play time, sometimes the dynamics change and there has been a few occasions were a smaller play time occurs before dinner but remember we spend a considerable amount of time getting dressed, doing makeup and working on our hair in order to look elegant and beautiful for you in public.

During ! Room service or order takeout ( Chinese ) .and the strawberries and whipped cream just heavenly with a bottle of Perrier Jouiet , the combination is orgasmic ! Also a nice Merlot during the meal ( when having steak or lamb ) or a. Nice pinot with lobster and or shrimp. Don't forget a port and a Havana either . ...for pretty much all the reasons you stated. Eating and drinking is a jolly good time, but it does not put me in top performance mode -- if you want my A-game, playtime first and then wining and dining!  

If I am free, I generally ask ladies that travel if they have time for dinner and drinks.
Never before. After dinner, I need a nap.

You forgot one con of doing dinner before...gal can burn up 2.5 hours of a 4 hour date on purpose, and I've seen it dozens of times in reviews. I do dinner afterwards for many reasons, but mainly because I am not going to fk on a full stomach, and because I guarantee 2 hours of playtime before dinner, so if we do run over, no biggie.

I have only done one dinner date where it was playtime first and then dinner.
I prefer dinner first and I make sure I do not eat anything that is going to be too heavy on the stomach.
Everyone has their own opinion on the question do what is best for you.
Some occasions might call for dinner first and other times BCD first before dinner.
There is no wrong answer to this question.

I don't schedule dinners though. A couple intimate hours or a weekend.

I am just wrapping up a two nighter with a gal in her neck of the southern woods and she wanted me to get plenty of her down home genre of food.  We did BCD after both nights and the gastrointestinal issues were with us; but on the other hand we spent lots of long hours BCD afterwards with not a care except our enjoyment of each other.

I tried to eat and drink light, but that's not so easy south of the Mason/Dixon Line.
