Some of the stuff was amusing, other comments made me cringe or cross my legs.
And I know all of this is anonymous, but there is something vaguely unprofessional about nurses posting comments made by patients on the internet. On the one hand health professionals and activists try to combat the stigma associated with STDs. Nearly every waiting room and doctor's office has a sign urging us to tell our our nurse or doctor everything, assuring us that all information is confidential, the health professionals are nojudgemental, etc. etc.
Yet, on the other hand, here are hundreds of comments from patients on the internet, posted for everyone's amusement. Granted, most of the comments reflect poorly on the intelligence of the patients, but does that mean they ought to be held up for public ridicule? I assume they all went to the clinic to be treated, not humiliated.
