All you have to do is download a free app called "app lock." Then you attach it to any apps you want to password protect- like the gmail app. I have a galaxy 2 for my phone in London and I use this with no problems. I use labels in gmail so I only use the gmail app and have the app lock on that, however, if you use the phone's pre set email client, "Email System Application" you can also put app lock on that. So either way you set up your email through your phone, you're set! The gmail app gives better access to gmail features, however, so I recommend using that one
