I've been out of the hobby for a while, but am traveling on business and wanted to find some company tonight. The city I am in doesn't have a lot of choices for girls with TER reviews. So I Found one online. I know this isn't smart so no lectures please!  
 
Found a girl there I liked, texted her and she called me immediately. Said she could come right over (I'm in a downtown location so nothing odd about that). She then said the donation was "350 for 90 minutes full service and GFE". OK. She then did confirm for me she was the girl in the picture.  
 
She then called my hotel room to verify I was there. I took a shower and waited. And waited. Then while I was waiting I got curious and started checking for reviews. Non for her. I then googled her phone number and her ads came up, plus a link to escort busts saying she had been in a bust. Not sure how legit that is, but it certainly got me thinking. She called then about a 1/2 hour after she said she'd be here and said she was sorry for running late, but would be there in 5. She got here in about 30 more.  
 
She wasn't the girl in the pic although she may have been 10 years ago. She asked for the donation and I just said, "you don't look like the girl, I'm going to give you $60 for coming out here and I'm sorry."  She said the cab was a hundred. I should have told her about uber.  
 
So I gave her a $100 and sent her away. She did ask me to "let me show you what I am working with here". And really tried to sell me on going thru with the appointment, but I just didn't feel comfortable, I have an early flight and can't really afford to be caught up in some bust. So I just rubbed one out instead.  
 
So, did I make the right call? (The woman that showed up was attractive - just much older than the girl in the pic, for what that is worth. (Although it shouldn't make a difference!). Curious as th what some other folks might have done in the same situation.

However, that being said.....

the names and numbers on their site. Probably some "morals police" group trying to scare people. Sadly it is working for some people. If you sent her home because you found her name on that site, then no, you didn't make the right call, and if you were using that reason, you should have called and cancelled before she showed up at your door.

It's an extortion site. There are men on it too.

So, if what you did made you comfortable, then it was correct.

I know it's harder when you have them go to your hotel because you are afraid of a scene, but in the future go to them if you're not sure about what you are getting. That way, you can walk and not worry about your name on a room.

While the situation strikes me as a bit fishy, the fact of the matter is that this is a case of false advertising, which I think is a pervasive fear for many gentlemen. Kudos for putting your foot down, and from what I read the situation was handled appropriately.

Odds are you are going to get a ticket or be arrested but not going though it can lowed the charges. A provider I know got busted but felt something was wrong and refused service. After being detained she excersized her rights and shut up. They busted 14 ladies that day. All but one got charged with both no sexually oriented business license and prostitution charges with two getting attempted money laundering charges added as they talked. My friend was the exeption as she only got a no sexually oriented business license. Listening to your gut and exercising your rights can and will create better outcomes. You may not get off but you have a much better odds of winning in court or getting a lesser charge.
