So one of my ATFs has been charging 300 quids for an hour for about 5 yrs now. Turns out she's increased her rates to 400 around March of this year but I just noticed when I looked up her ad. The reason why I missed was she would text me when she comes to town and I'll make it a point to see her so I don't have to look at her site for her schedule. I would tip once in a while. When I saw it, I texted her and apologized for shorting her for a couple of months but she texted back and said it was ok and I should stick to the old rates.  
My question to the ladies here is, would you do something like that or expect your old regulars to pay the new rates or ymmv?  
For my fellow Men of Culture, have you ever experienced something similar, and what did you do?

One lady who I've been seeing for 5 years grandfathered me when she raised her rates (small increase).

 
Another Korean lady I've seen raised her rates from 350 to 475 and kept me at the old rate but she seems to be tough to contact  and her rate for an hour is now 800. I have not been able to contact her through her assistant to even discuss setting up an appointment.

 
A third one has told me she will be raising her rates but that I shouldn't worry as I will still pay the "old" rate.

 
I have seen a a small handful of ladies who have raised their rates but have not exempted existing clients.

When a lady raises her price, she is not sure if her volume will go down. So, she likes to keep the clientele who is happy to pay her old price, while she is trying to find a new clientele willing to pay the higher price. Also don't assume that she is charging everyone (except you) the new price on her website. She may well tell her new clients she is giving a discount on Wednesdays, before noon etc.  

If she is happy with what you are paying and you are happy with what you are paying, keep it that way.

...so I wouldn't know if they raised their rates.  Some let me know that their rates have increased and some don't say anything.  If they say nothing, I presume I'm grandfathered.  If they tell me they've increased their rates I definitely know that I'm NOT grandfathered and pay the increased rate.

 
I saw a touring regular about six months ago.  She let me know she increased her rates from $500 to $600.  I saw her again last week and gave her $600 again.  After I got home I checked her website and saw that she had increased her rate to $700.  She didn't tell me this time so I assume she's OK with $600.  She better be - I won't go along with two increases if $100 within six months.

Like you I will seldom look at the website of a regular -- why would I. So I expect, and my experience suggests it's a reasonable expectation, that the booker or lady will let me know if something has changed when I contact them.

 
I have been told not to worry about the increase by some. I do suspect that it is a YMMV situation based on both on the basic relationship and the frequency of the visits. So sounds like you have a good relationship with the lady and probably see her enough to make her comfortable letting you have the old rates. Enjoy and keep treating her well.

a regular provider's website for their current rates prior to scheduling another date with them. I believe they should be paid their current rates.  

I treat a provider like any other business.

If they have raised their rates since the last date, I then determine if the new rate is worth the past services provided.

If I still see value there, then I'll see them again at their new rate and reevaluate afterwards if I will continue to see them at their new rate.

Unfortunately, some providers let their services slide after their rate increase.  When this happens, I will not see them again.

     I've been audaciously swindled by a few very wealthy  and  consistent Clients prior.
It's baffling  to me that someone would have the cajones to do such a thing, with nary

     As this reply relates to "Grandfathering Donations";
My repeat and consistent Clientele, {those whom see me Monthly, Weekly}, indeed are  
"Grandfathered"  to their Client Donation for up to a year and sometimes more.  
 {I haven't raised donations in 3 years}

 

 

     I have one Client whom has been consistent for the last five years, thus he's "Grandfathered" into
the donation I requested when we first met.  
     However, within the last year or a bit longer, due to health issues, he's not been able to visit more
than twice.  {I'm not only grateful for him, also compassionate, therefore I'd not raise his rates}  

 

 

     Under normal circumstances, for most Clients, if they only see me bi-annually, they wouldn't be
under the presumptive previous rates, if an increase were instated.

 

 
     In any email correspondence with Clients I usually always list my Website.  
Perhaps assumptive of me, it's most desirous to check the information at hand to be duly prepared.

One gal checked the amount and gave me money back. The others found other ways to make me happy with the new rate (usually extra time and affection).

Of course, this only works with independents. I have never had an agency offer to grandfather me, and it would be very expensive for an agency gal to do it on her own because all of it would come out of her side of the fee.

When it comes to my regulars, they treat me well and I return the favor ❤️Also I feel like I change my rates without too much warning so I’d hate to pull the rug from under them. The regulars that treat me well? I’m more than accommodating. But every girl is different.

If a Client asked me to allow him to pay the rates that he use to pay. Then I would ask him "How many times per week will I see you if I charge you the same old rates or rates that are so-called-suitable for your wallet?!" Then go from there.  If he remarks "Once or twice a week."  Then I would say "Sorry, New rates apply."

Think the majority of providers would forgo a $100 increase to keep a guy as a four to 8 sessions a month.  
That is if the client expectations do not include expanded benefits time and she is not just tolerating him in the first place. The reviewers can be true in that the increase may just apply to him for whatever reason to make it worth her putting up with whatever.

I think that I know who you are referring to (Lixa?). I saw her a few time pre-pandemic, and she made the same offer. However, $800 per hour is a bit more than I am willing to pay, especially since I booked 1.5 hour appointments which would now run $1200.  She is a honey, and I wish her well.

If you have photos of your grandchildren on your phone, you should get the grandfathered rate.
