As for the lemon on fish, it helps break down the oils in the fish which contributes to a better flavor.

You put lemon "on" fist to make it taste better and you put pineapple "in" fish to make him taste better. lol

Lemon is a natural antibacterial, so putting it on a pussy to kill any germs actually makes some sense.  I you buy hand soap with Lemon oil, it kills germs without adding any chemicals.

Like they say, they put real lemon in detergent and artificial lemon flavor in lemonade and drinks.
