Often, here, we have had discussions regarding falling in love with a provider.

Seven years ago, I witnessed such an incident.  A provider and the client fell in love.  She immediately quit her job, tried to distance herself from that man, went through financial hard times, with children and all, rebuilt her life, they met again, started a liaison.  They are still together, loving affectionate, romantic.  They didn't get married, or lived together, but the fire and love still fully intact in a completely monogomous relationship.

I'm sure it can work sometimes.  I hope my (former) ATF and the guy she dumped me (and quit her profession) for have a happy life together.  I actually do.  As sweet as she is, she can be a real harpy when she wants to be, so better him than me.  Maybe I just brought out the worst in her.  Anyway, I wish them and your friends well.
