The good news is that after I have my gastric bypass surgery and lose the 250 extra pounds I'm carrying around ... well ... you do the math. It might not seem like much, but compared to the mushroom cap I have now ... whoa momma! lol

Yes. Not sure if I'm fresh or dried though.

The fresh have a stronger flavor, but aren't as well liked or  as widely used.

The dried are more favorable to the pallette with their lessened strength and thus are used frequently. But they are just as they say they are, dried.

There is a way to bring them back to a tasty edible status though ...



So you know what that means ...



I'll need to soak in something wet in order to come back to life.

I have had the surgery & lost a little over 100 lbs.  I'm not sure I would claim that I  gained 3''. You would have to ask some of the ladies I have seen.  What I can guarantee Jim (and the ladies who see him) is a much better time in the sack...  Harry

I remember the first time my SO (who was a virgin when I met her) first saw me "rise to the occasion" as I went from 2" soft to about 7". When I get into a cold swimming pool it's like I have two belly buttons.....

Netm- you are simply amazing-- I was just recalling an excellent free-range mushroom meal I had in Carmel about 30 years ago.. the taste was really exquisite...  Like regular shrooms but with a little bit more...

Have the last of my pre-op testing and nutrition class this coming Monday down in Weston, FL. at the Cleveland Clinic. (Weston is in the Ft. Lauderdale area.)

Unless the pulmonologist wants a sleep study, that's everything and paperwork can be submitted for approval ... so I should be about 1-2 months away from surgery. YIPPIE!!!

It has been a 2 year battle to get here, and I am so excited it's finally happening for me.

I not only look forward to a healthier more active lifestyle, but also being better in the sack!
