Glamour or Natural

I've been struggling between the two.
When I'm booked, I assume he wants the woman he sees in the photo, pin up, glamour model.
Yet, on numerous occasions, I've been asked to come natural face/hair and jeans.

Is natural/fresh face, the more popular option now?

I think its an "individual" thing.

But why assume? Why not ask? Many disappointments in this biz come form a lack of communication.

A simple, final email asking the guy how he would like to see you dressed, whether or not to wear perfume, any special requests, etc goes a long way.

This is a service business so customer service plays a big part with many here. So don't look for trends with the guys, look for that individual thing he particularly likes by asking him and try your best to accommodate any reasonable request.

I'm a nature boy at heart, and see the whole makeup thing as a bit contrived, though I know a few gals really get off on putting on their "war paint", so to speak.  One gal told me that it makes her feel sexy.  If that be the case, than so be it.

In terms of practicality, I don't need the dry cleaning bills for  lipstick or makeup smudges on my clothing, and from the point of view of guys with SOs, the less physical evidence the better.

I always do and they give me "whatever you prefer" so I go with glamour. But when they see a photo on social media of  me natural, they act like i robbed them or something and say i want this girl next time.

However the problem is when men say makeup free, only very few actually mean it (or know what it means). Like they'll point at girl they think is not wearing makeup, but she's wearing foundation, concealer, light mascara, shaded eyebrows and a nude lipstick. It really varies.

I don't ever do heavy eye makeup, my thing is striking lipstick. I've had some request I go natural before the appointment, and then complement me on my "naturalness" (which still consists of foundation and mascara).

Now I've had clients see me makeupless, either because of an overnight or multi day booking, or because we sent swimming or etc etc. Its not a huge deal for me.

Ha, guys that know too much about makeup are probably only visiting the TS forum. (I kid.)

That there are men naive enough or just fell off a turnip truck yesterday they never heard of "photoshop" or "re-touching" by professional photographers.

Men, if you really want to know what you're getting for your money ask the provider to take a selfie in front of her bathroom mirror when she first gets up in the morning. Other than that, all bets are off.

As for the subject of the topic I'd rather take a middle road. That is, very basic makeup somewhere in the middle of glam and natural.

I actually don't mind if the glam look makes the providers feel better about themselves unless it interferes with my paid for activities. That is, she shouldn't mind having her beautifully and carefully made up hair and face being totally messed up in the heat of the moment.

a provider to see, its all about the fantasy.  If I want reality, I'll ask a civvie girl from the gym to go out.  It okay for gym girls to work up a sweat.

In my opinion I usually like a girl that looks stunning without having seemed to have made the effort. We've all seen the before/after make up shots of All the celebs out there and a fair few look just as good before as after but the same number need a little help to get that perfect complexion. Same goes in real life.

The sensible ones of us don't care about the odd blemish/stretch mark etc much so less/more natural make up is better,  as we hope you don't mind the beer gut and wrinkles!!

If we're being specific, you look better in the flesh rather than on you (slightly) touched up photos, they are a genuine representation of you, you just look better face to face!

Opinions will vary greatly on this one. Great question nonetheless. I prefer natural and tend to shy away from providers that post glamour shots. I have a certain biased when it comes to those types. Most guys just want an around the way girl not some pin up model. Many hobbyist do not place so much stock in a providers look but the service. Service is sustainable, looks are not. My regular providers are the one that provide the most sustainable service and they all are not glamour in looks.

I've had guys request I come casual, totally natural no makeup... So I do my makeup as usual and they are thrilled.

I've had guys request I dress up to the nines... So I do my makeup as usual and they are thrilled.

The takeaway, for me anyway...is this: Men dont know a whole lot about makeup.

Like someone else mentioned...Ive seen guys admire a woman for her natural beauty and commenting how shes pretty without any makeup on...when shes completely caked in it.  I think its kinda cute though to be honest!  I think for those who request it, they just dont want to feel like they cant see what you actually look like.

Anyway, Im not trying to leave my face on the sheets, or walk out looking completely different than I did walking in. So I am pretty minimal.  For me, glamming it up means wearing wearing lip gloss instead of tinted lip balm.  Just hope I never have a date with a makeup artist, cause he'd be rather disappointed lol

I have actually had that happen to me before as clinets do like the all glam'd up look and want the all natural girl. I guess all people are different and want to see you in your comfy jeans, and not so much make-up look. Then they get to see the real you and not all the made up extra stuff added to the original women. I guess just their preferences. :)

I prefer the glamour look at least the first time I see a provider.  Especially if that is how her photos are.  A couple of all time favorites I am comfortable with the more casual/natural look.
