Then eventually it becomes difficult to orgasm.  Slow deep breathing and relaxing the genitals also helps

was wondering if anyone through exercise seems to have longer staying power.  I started doing a couple hundred ab crunches and reverse ab crunches that seem to really hit the lower abs and pubic area about 4 months ago and i have noticed that i can last longer and longer every time.   I am not having sex every day roughly once a week or so.  the only thing i have changed in my life is religiously doing these ab crunches.  Am i crazy or have i found a way to help all men last longer in bed?

to avoid early ejaculation, so if those exercises improve the performance of those muscels, then it is probably helping.

Proper breathing, being well hydrated, and rested are all important to good sexual functioning, so I'd say you are on the right path.

well, Dr DTNot prescribes a healthy dose of performance anxiety, always keeps me from coming...

i need to use that at a cocktail party in LA.  Fisher, it's your day to really take some guffaws around here.

Ever see Mr Fisher?  He looks like Woody Allen or some other short little Jewish NYer.    Wood Yi would be right up his alley.

your fans want to hear your response!  defend your semantics, sir!

They're two distinct muscles, and with practice you can learn to isolate one from the other.  If you're squeezing your sphincter, you're only accidentally also squeezing the PC muscle.

Once you learn to control one from the other, you can strengthen the PC more effectively, and also learn to prevent yourself from ejaculating.  You can still have an orgasm, but it will be a "dry" orgasm.  Mastering this technique makes it possible for any man to have multiple orgasms because there's no refractory period in the usual sense.

The point is to learn to tell the difference and isolate the PC muscle so you can strengthen it individually and eventually learn to control it when you're about to orgasm.

The PC muscle is the same one women strengthen when doing a Kegel exercise, and that's definitely different than the sphincter.

working out won't help the first one. the answer to the next one is cowgirl.

funny,  yes lasting as in delaying ejaculation.   Cowgirl does help delay it  but i have improved considerably in mish and doggie.   my wife has even commented about by new found staying power and is probably wondering what the hell is going on.   if she knew about my hobbying i would be a dead man

I am surprised you didn't know about kegels years ago? I addition to your lower abbs which are critical to prolonging coital activity also when you urinate you can also practice holding the flow that way as well.  I am sure if you discuss this with the top male performers the would also say some of the same things.
