Hope you have lots of hot nurses who moonlight as escorts to take "Care" of you!

Good climbers don't rely on upper body strength.  When Lynn Hill came to Yosemite as a high school kid, we knew she'd be good.  I was happy about doing the Nose Route on El Capitan in good style.  But many years later, Lynn became the first person, male or female, to do the route totally free.

Just the other day a had a session with a gal who had just had a heart attack, but her doctor said it was OK for her to resume her profession.

I can recall any other time that I've heard of so many people falling apart with broken knees, broken backs, brocken just about everything.

Take care my friend and mend well.

But most of those kinds of peak experiences were down in Camp Four.

Hi Mr. F,

.. . of it, even when visiting a woman for funsies!! Later during the week the pain caused me to call & talk to a nurse!! I gave her my symptoms & she said I had better get to the emergency room!! I thought, eh, I will if the pain was still w/ me in the morning!! I was feeling better the next  day & didn't go!1 I found out a month later that I had a minor heart attack  during those pain episodes!!Thank goodness,  by the grace of pasta (I'm agnostic), I'm still here & I'm on great heart medication  these days!! :o)

I see it literally everyday. For some reason we play off the pain take a couple of aspirin and just think it will go away. Sometimes it does that time. The next time someone is dialing 911 and I'm running in the door and within 2 minutes you have needles in you, a tube down your throat, and paddles stuck to your chest, with CPR being done. I'm going to give everybody on here a little secret. If you are having chest pain, call 911 have the Paramedics check you out. If we don't see anything on our ekg, you can refuse transport and it won't cost you unless meds were given. If we see something then go, it could save your life.

along with numbness in the left arm, there's an excellent chance that is a heart attack.

I recall an older fellow at work expressing this problem on a Monday AM (the most likely time).

I drove him right to the ER despite his complaints that it was nothing and he was in surgery just days later.

He thanked me very profusly afterwards.

in the country! I'm not saying to ignore the signs. Of course if someone has heart attack signs they should call 911. But you pretending to know how every county and city ambulance system charges their patients is laughable.

They can't refuse service to anyone, and that goes for Alaska which is where lungman happens to be. So, what continent is Alaska on? Is it considered part of the U.S.? Maybe you think it's in Asia? Yea, I bet the rules are a bit different there. For a "newbie" you sure do seem to know a lot about MM. Hmm.

He did not say every damn country did he? I am pretty sure we all know that healthcare systems suck in most other countries.

If u can answer all the questions appropriately and you are no threat to yourself or anyone else, you have the right to refuse treatment and transport. Otherwise it is kidnapping, we cannot force you to go against your will. That IS standard practice  throughout the  U.S.

The fact u took a positive thread to bitch about something you know nothing about, is the real joke.

Yes people call 911 if there is a problem, the rest is up to you.
